Bad Grows? (Every Day Can't Be Sunshine and Rainbows)

Tell me your bad stories. I’ve spent a lot of time looking up positive things/how to grow…it makes me wonder what the worst stuff is that has happened to you. Spent months growing it only to smoke it and it didn’t work? Pests destroyed your plant? Aliens came down and stole them while you were sleeping? :joy: :alien: Etc. Pics if you got 'em!

I once got chased by a helicopter. That’s probably the worst one.

Sounds like it also could of been the best grabbing that kind of attention

To this day I still jump when I hear a helicopter coming. And this was a very long time ago.

I live where two major highways cross so I hear them often.

Damn kids don’t know how good they’ve got it

Man I lived in Virginia Beach and did not know “jet noise” was an every day occurrence for some people until I moved there…smh…holy shit lol

Where’s the Virginia Beach Afghani lol?

As for the thread…way I see it, you’ve either failed, are lying about having failed, or haven’ grown long enough to fail. Farming is always a bit of a gamble, no matter what you’re growing. Too many moving parts. Something always doesn’t go quite right. Living creatures, moving parts, human error. There’s so many things that can go wrong…but it’s not so bad now that it’s getting legal for most people.

Even when things go OK there’s the nagging feeling like you coulda done better.

Did a seed run in solo cups and ended up with 3 seeds, over fertilized the next run burning them to a crisp, tried a mini pheno hunt in solos the next run and ended up with bunk and spider mites… my last 3 runs have been crap lol

You’ve never grown weed if you’ve never thrown away weed.

Agreed.

Damn, that sounds like a lot to deal with! :\

Farmers have crop insurance for a reason lol…multibillion dollar industry.

Same but different. There is always a fly in the ointment. A turd for every punchbowl.

At this point I just sigh and shrug and vow to be smarter next time…but some issues suffer from “Nile Syndrome”…bad shit happens juuuust infrequently enough that you get lazy about avoiding it. Problem with our software…if it hasn’t happened in a few years it doesn’t exist anymore in our head.

I mean… alot of it was probably due to laziness, complacency and just plain not paying attention lol

So there’s the day before

And the day after. Vegged for 3 months and had my swamp cooler fail on my greenhouse the morning I was suppose to water and didn’t make it out there till almost noon to realize anything was wrong, everything got fried. Only was out there for a week and previously were indoors, shoulda just left em inside…

Ya, shit happens. Was within the last two weeks too. Out of the 25 plants I managed to save crack venom, killer malawi x NL Sensi, sfv og and fruity pebbles and they still look like hell 16283802889435018093583255586656|375x500 16283801116641866859168982285364|375x500

I have had a ton of different problems and almost every time my reaction, or rather over reaction ends up being worse than the problem. Spider mites? Spray whole plant with rubbing alcohol and neem while lights are on. PH off a bit in DWC bucket? Add ph up direct to bucket and torch plant. They go on and on.

I feel like I would overthink things. I hope this teaches me patience.
