Badger goes camping with his buddies

Updated orange grove pictures. I’m gonna have to make some room and get these up potted.

These seedlings seem almost as big as the jilly beans.

Sour Blue tooth f2’s. One of them decided it didn’t like me and shriveled up and died. 4/4 on the germ @Bullskinner

I have read that you need to clean out your cloner every once in awhile. Since was using almost half tap water, I did not do that. You still have to :joy:

I still ended up getting small roots, that did not want to form further and a bit of slime.

I hit the root nubs with hydrogen peroxide, and transferred the cutting to soil putting them under a dome.

2 days later, the roots exploded!

I did not know that, I only change the water when they finish, good to know cheers :+1:

My cloner holds about 7 gallons. When I pull my clones I fill it up, add 7 grams of pool shock, and run it for 24 hours. I have a piece of plexi that I cut to cover all the holes, so the bubble stones, inserts and collars go in it too.

I pull everything out, dry it off, put the inserts and collars back together, put 'em in their holes, cover it with the plexi, and put it up. When I fire it up, I’ll run clean water through it overnight.

I try not to let it get funky to start with. Adding 1 gram of pool shock to a gallon of water makes a gallon of Clear-Res. I change my solution every Sunday, and I add 3ml per gallon to the cloner when I change it, and again on Wed. I don’t like that brown slimy shit.

I’ve heard people say they never clean theirs. I don’t know how that works.

Hey @Badger your doing a fine job! I learn something every time I read up on this thread. How are the terp bombs doing. Do you have any close ups of them?

I take my cloner and scrub it down between batches. Especially if you cloned a different species in there, you could be asking for trouble. In my cloner the algae colonies start to grow after several months, igniting the expansion of a colony of micro organisms that then eat the clones. Rotifers and other tiny creatures.

I have been changing the water once a week, buy I will be more preventative from now on. It was nice to know I could save the clones, and I won’t have to clip more.

@corey 4 females and 6 males. I just found the last male the other day. They should be flowering soon.
Dang it, no pics. I’ll get some probably tomorrow for Ya bud. They’re growing nicely.

Thanks man, that means a lot.

@Shadey I change the water once a week, and ph between changing also. I’ll start cleaning the clone at least once a month now

Edit:between batches would be better, but I like to snatch batches off here and there.

My big cloner has 35 holes, but I usually only run it in the spring when I’m gearing up for outdoor. I needed something smaller for “everyday” use.

This is the “Kitty Litter Cloner”

They work real well, and they’re very inexpensive to build.

I bought a 550 GPH pump from Amazon for $20.

When I went to find that link I saw they have a 2-pack for $30. I’m getting a couple more.

I saw your aerocloner you built, and I want one. My bubble cloner is just a knockoff. I will make one, one of these days.

Mine holds 24, and I’ve mostly used it for genetics I want to hold for now, until further rather decisions can be made. I have loaded it up with several in each hole as well.

I’m late to the outdoor party, again

Not as late as last year though, and my plot has been ready for awhile.

Another line up of them. They are in the front row of the tent. The middle row is the blue kush 5. She begged slow compared to the rest, but really wanted to see her yield with more veg, and hopefully no seeds.

Back right corner is a blue kush 3. We hadn’t gotten to flower her out yet, so I’m excited. She started off much smaller than the 5, so she’s more vigorous by far.

Back lefts are the newer paralyzed from older seeds.

The paralyzer tent. I think with a little training, and some trimming I think she’s ready to flip. I plan to put a higher net to support the colas. I have the feeling they are gonna get fat.

Everything looks like they’re loving those city pickers… have they been pretty easy so far?

They just get water and labs. The hardest part was building that net for a tent that isn’t quite square. :joy:

I’ve been shocked how nice this run has gone so far. If the tops turn out nice and fat, like I’m expecting, I’ll stick with this growing style for sure.

The only hiccup I can see is trimming up under the net, and I need to do that asap.

I’m also making some plans to get another set. This way I can veg in them for a bit, and then transfer in to the flower tent. It’s not too convenient, but saves us time.

You know I can’t wait till the smoke report on those Terp Bombs. Interested in his work and letting you be the tester!

To me they look mostly uniform, but 3 is thicker. I’ve got my eye on her.

They all rooted pretty nicely too. They aren’t quite as vigorous as the back row, but if they really do pack an extra terpy punch, I can live with that.

I don’t mind being a tester bro.

Edit: gotta throw a thank you out to @corey for the seeds. Did you ever grow out the terpfiend seeds you had?

Hey bud! Looking great! Great job utilizing the space in your tent. The terp_fi3nd seeds I started were his royal goo. I started 5 of them over the winter for outdoor season, and wound up with 2 females. I put those 2 outside end of April. They took some time to revert to the veg stage, and really vegging nicely now. I haven’t posted pics of them yet, but they are lollipoped and topped. My goal is short bushy plants with no larf. I’m in it for quality not quantity this year.
I’m very excited to see what the hype is all about with terpfiends strains. He’s got a 53 minute pod cast on you tube which makes him sound legit. Might be worth looking for and listening too.
Happy growing brother!

I caught him on a podcast about his Pineapple Meatball line. It’s what got me interested in his work.

He’s got some interesting stuff for sure, and his seeds are hard to find. He talked a lot about flavor and potency when he breeds his seeds. I hope we get a pheno that’ll slap you in the face. Lol

@corey Why not just get them from the man himself?
