Where are they?
They may be beneficial, the bad mites are usually found on the under side of leaves, they suck the sap out of the leaf. If they are in the soil they may be predator mites hunting for the spider mites or fungus gnat larvae.
Do they have any identifiable markings, adult spider mites here have 2 spots on their back.
I have been dealing with them for a couple of months now, just when I think I have got rid of them I find one. I just did a big defoliation on 2 of my flower plants and then sprayed them as I found one on a damaged leaf. Damaged leaves look like they have tiny rusty colored speckles on the top side.
I use water and 99.9% rubbing alcohol 1 litre water to 100mil of alcohol a 10 to 1 ratio, when in flower.
For veg I use insecticidal soap and three days later a bleach and water mix. 1 table spoon of bleach to 1US gallon of water.
Then keep rotating them every 3 to 4 days so the mites don’t develop an immunity to it.
Best to use it just before lights out in case it burns the plants.

This is how “dumb luck” works for me. The mites are predatory stracio? They live in the top inch of soil and are predatory in each stage of life. this probably explains why they were in my M cage cup so hard I believe it was russet mites or something like that it had invaded my end cage clone and it twisted it and gnarled it one day when I picked it up I set it down because these mites were running around the top of it like little crackheads.
Immediately I grab the loop Mac 1 and look at it figure out what it was I couldn’t so I sprayed the last little bit of bug spray ahead in my killing them and probably letting the other bugs destroy it. UNTIL I couldn’t contain them. I don’t like killing. They’re back probably because.
My aunt left a bunch of pots in the house with a shit ton of poppie seedlings so FG started exploding in my house not because of me.
So eventually made their way into my little clones where the gonny goo goo’s were waiting on them
I assume and smashing the fuck out of them now. There aren’t many FG in my room I promise you that. In my crazy mind in envision a bar room brawl where the FG’s are getting furred! Lol
Stracio predatory mites is what they’re id’d as for sure. Goodfellas…

I don’t tell anybody this much but I had MRSA it flares up in my system very bad even if I don’t have any open wounds on me shaving might make it come back and come back with a vengeance it does it’s taking my testosterone levels plummeted no lifting running just angry and in pain all day long I can’t take pain pills so when I lose a plant or a couple plants it hurts. I’m at the point now to wear my sickness is interfering with my growing and I need my medicine there’s no way I could afford it coming out of the dispensary and there’s no way I’ll take any fucking pain pills bad enough I have to take anxiety medication because it makes me angry as well. I’m kinda struggling man.
My right leg has neuropathy from massive damage so some days my leg feels like it’s dipped in acid all day. There’s my cry session.
Its nice just to let it out. Not cry but posting is therapy for me. I’m all sunburned too haha.

had spider mites and finally got rid of them spraying something different every 3-4 days - green cleaner - pyrethrins - nem - copper sulfate powder - spinosad
they be gone now !!!

I really was ready to destroy and start ALL over. Predatory mites. I can’t win a scratch off but I get good mites. I was kinda down yesterday. Jeffrey McCoy had a video up. Stopped immediately. Jumped on Google. Grabbed the scope. Fucking awesome. There selling bottles of these mites for a few hundred bucks in some sizes.
The worst things I’ve had to deal with are Asian stink bugs. We have tons of big hardwoods around the house. Stank bug invasion. They’re big enough to pick off and bottle. They freak me the fuck out. I ran over my tent first month running from one.
The freakiest are the ones you don’t see. The first time I saw a FG maggot I flipped. Opened the soil. They were swimming. I’m sure you guys did really grow heavily have had to deal with this shit your whole lives. Most of my grows dozen-or-so or plants a year and most of it was outdoor.
Indoor growing freaks me the fuck out cuz when them bugs are coming in I can’t handle it sticky traps just aren’t off good enough for me. I wanna fucking hose him down with sulfuric acid. Lol acid attacks. Wyd that at?
Stracio is probably Latin or some shit for soil? Predatory Stracio mites.

I know how you feel, they creep me the fk out as well, thinking they could be wandering around the house.
I paid 50$ for a pack of 5000 predatory mites to kill off a bad fungus gnat infestation last year. I didn’t tell the wife as she would have thrown the lot out into the back yard lol.
They are still working hard on the fungus gnats, hardly see any unless I pot up new plants with fresh soil, then the predator mites move in, as soon as they get re potted into my big no till pots and the gnats disappear.
I am glad for you they are not the spider mites, frickin nightmare to get rid of. I am slowly getting rid of them as each plant that had them, either gets flowered or burned depending on my mood and the amount of mites on the plant at the time.

I think the Lord just showed a little bit of mercy on me and helped me out with my clones. The fungus gnats larva we’re smashing the fresh roots on my clones so fast I couldn’t cloner fast enough I don’t know. I’m not sure if the doctor Earth I’m using has the mites eggs within them or larvae but those things fucking destroyed all the bugs in there. I live with my mother and she’s not a fan of bugs in the house at all so I definitely wouldn’t tell her I have mites running around in my cups good or not she be like to take em outside, don’t you think it’s enough? Never!
I want to say they live for over a month with their last meal. Now that I know what they look like they’re my best friends. I saw him walking up the plant to about the first node when they would meet up with another one of the same they would touch noses and walk away they never went up the plant further than the first node.
When I saw them in my Tropicana cookies clones, I freaked. Thank God I gave it a couple days figured out exactly what they were. Somehow my MKage clone. Head mites destroying it no other clones just that particular one. So I said it next to the other clones sure enough the predatory mites went right in the cup and threw a fucking SmackDown on them LOL. There’s a Gang beef going on under my feet and the predatory mites are smashing the Fockers.
These little mites are the peaky blinders of the bug world I don’t know ladybugs are fucking Roice Gracie!

You’re right about the needs of the many man that’s why you got to chop some heads to make room sometimes. I’m glad your bug Thug problems are being dealt with. There’s nothing worse than when you feel like shit didn’t have to worry about fritters on your babies.
I appreciate Sam’s help to I know you guys have been through a lot more Plants than I have seen a lot more so I tend to listen rather than ask for help and then just do something else you know.
Hope you’re feeling good dude hopefully I’ll be back on my feet in another year man the scars on my legs and wounds are going to take that long to heal I still manage my yard work in my small pallet tomato BB garden and stuff so. Sorry for rambling I just have to put it out there that marijuana has got me off my feet off the heroin outside gardening recycling composting things I never would have done being on that shit I’ll never go back and I thank God that y’all brought this site back I love all you dudes for real even though I act like a fucking asshole in a crybaby sometimes most of the time hahaha.

Just wanted to show how healthy is soil is well I set my plans over in 12:12 I had some dog are for the top of it a particular doctor Earth.
I usually topdress it couple weeks after I flip definitely gives the soil and microbes a much-needed charge as you can see from the pictures. Y’all have a good one oh by the way this is Skywalker OG HDR cut…
What the fuck are those orbs in that pic. The tent is closed and wouldn’t be kicking a reflection like that.
