I always mention that this is not typical of the Purple Poison Cookies whenever I post a pic. I have the space available so it’s a fun experiment. I’ll definitely end up with something interesting to smoke!

I gather that Genius 13 comes from Brothers Grimm and is a cross of the Airborne cut of G13/HP and Mr. Soul’s Genius (which is a pheno of Jack Herer [Haze x (NL5 x Shiva Skunk)]. Red Haired Stranger is Tom Hill’s Haze x William’s Wonder. I’m really looking forward to both of them. This is my first go if anyone has experience to share…
And speaking of new experiences, I took a shot at gummies tonight:
Plants are looking healthy and happy👍 I’ve got the same larger bear molds, I definitely prefer those over standard sized gummy bears. What did you use to infuse your gummies? Infused oil? Concentrate? I just made a batch yesterday myself, peach iced tea flavored using infused coconut oil and RSO. Potency and consistency are good but they could be more flavorful. Apparently the peach Jello isn’t a very strong flavor, I used my favorite peach iced tea in place of water too but they still could be better. I’ll toss them in sugar/citric acid mix to help em out a bit. I should infuse my sugar too just to up the mg’s a bit more but they’re already about 45mg’s apiece

I used lemon Jello, lemon juice, and lemon extract. You can still taste the cannabis a little, but it’s not bad. I have coated mine in sugar but didn’t have any citric acid on hand. Next time…

How do you infuse sugar?

I’m sure that you could directly mix concentrates with sugar, especially something like a sauce consistency. But the way I’m familiar with is decarbing your flower, infusing into Everclear and then straining, mixing your infused Everclear into the sugar and then letting the alcohol evaporate off and collecting your now infused sugar. You can also infuse flour by decarbing cannabis flower, grinding it to dust in a food processor and mixing with the flour. Or obviously kief/hash and concentrates infuse easily into damn near anything
If you believe ILGM, they list 10-12 weeks for Red Headed Stranger to flower. I’d think that would vary depending if the pheno leans towards the Haze parent or the William’s Wonder. A buddy of mine ran Williams Wonder for a long time and we always really enjoyed the smoke. His plants would stay relatively compact but still provide nice yields. I have no idea what to expect from this clone I received since I haven’t seen it grown before.
That’s basically what I imagined. Add it to my morning Java.

Yeah you can make hard candies with oil too. Just gotta use lecithin to emulsify just like with the gummies, and probably best to use corn syrup solids in place of liquid corn syrup so the candies are less likely to sweat at room temp which they’re prone to doing with the coconut oil in em
