I left town for a music festival in Chicago. Gave all plants a heavy watering Thursday morning and just returned today (Monday). I wasn’t sure what I’d walk into, but… I kinda think they did better without me around! I turned the lights down low and left the tents with their zippers partially open since I’ve been battling heat issues. I think it worked great! Having the door to the room shut the entire time kept the humidity up which put my VPD in a better range.
I dropped leaf samples in the mail Thursday as I rolled out of town. This morning Farmer Freeman let me know they had received them, and just 2 hours later they had my results!!! That was a quick turnaround!!!
That frees up a bit of room. Unfortunately my only Dirty Taxi is a boy. I’ll have two Querkle girls as well as two Bruce Banners. Also, 3 of the 4 Jordan of the Islands Pure Blueberry are ladies!

Fine for now but I think she’s just starting to really swell. I’ll give her another week and reassess.
At the music festival this weekend I randomly saw a guy wearing a Third Coast Genetics t-shirt. Turns out his buddy runs the company. He was psyched to hear I had just acquired those Pure Michigan beans. It is 3rd Coast’s Oreoz mom dusted with pollen from ThugPug’s Mendobreath F2 stud. The photos look amazing. So much frost!!!

Found a good angle. Cavity Crush is up front, Sour Diesel on the right (x2). In the back are two towering Spirit Trains. The left side is AK Bean Brains’ NL 5/1 x Super Skunk. She has been hiding and I haven’t been motivated to pull her out and clean her up. I say I’ll do that when I chop the Cavity Crush in a week or so, but I keep being surprised by how quickly she finishes - under 8 weeks. Her pistils are turning color so fast. It’s completely possible she may end up finishing before the Cavity Crush!
