I’m really looking forward to it. Other than Yo-Yo Ma and the cello suites (which is just one guy with a cello haha)(not that that’s a bad thing; I used to play the fuck out of those Bach cello suites on the guitar in my early twenties), I’m not sure I’ve ever seen any classical music live. Definitely not an entire orchestra. I’m already like,”Holy shit, what’s the final movement gonna be like? When the vocals come in and all that? It’s gonna be fucking intense, I think…” I might lose it and start crying.

Also, any time I see pics of people’s outdoor grows, I look at the background and it’s always what appears to be miles of empty space, no houses anywhere, no neighbors, just open land… I get really super-envious haha.
I live literally on a hillside and my neighbors are 50’ above and 100’ back so yes very secluded neighborhood but not really . I am backed up next to utility company so good security if you think about it?

I think it is just an MB15 from what I gather. It is not the most vigorous for under the tent but it is really finding it likes the outside here in the desert.
Cavity Crush is at day 61 of flower. Previous harvests were taken at 68 and 70 days, so it won’t be long. Apologies for the dog hair. She’s shedding and walked right in front of a fan that blows on the plants
I gave an update on the testers I’m running in the Shoreline Genetics thread, but wanted to have some pics here as well. These are Death Star x Shoreline OG Bx at 2.5 weeks of 12/12.
Over the weekend I pitched everything in the cloner because they weren’t happy. The pH was way off. I started over with new cuts, but discovered the Pure Blueberry mom had died. My friends have it so I could get it back, but I have so many varieties in seed form to try. I’ve got at least two dozen Blueberry variations and crosses…
Also, I made a round of infused Andes mint chocolates. These will be heading out west with some friends so they can properly enjoy our glorious National Parks system
Wow, those Shoreline plants stretched pretty good, huh? I like the way they look, all lanky and shit. Maybe more “OG” than “Deathstar” haha, but that seems okay to me.
Can’t wait to see what happens with those William’s Wonder f4’s, too. Always loved those Temple crosses of Bodhi’s, but I’m not sure I’ve ever actually looked into straight WW before, so this’ll be fun.

I harvested the Cavity Crush and it is hanging to dry - still needs another day or three before I start trimming.
The two Death Star x Shoreline OG Bx plants both developed male flowers all over around week 3, so they were chopped.
Out of seven Williams Wonder F4 seeds I got a big fat goose egg to sprout. That was half the pack so yesterday I soaked the rest. Today I prepped different soil and planted them. I mentioned that my buddy used to grow this strain 10 years ago and was super excited for me to grow more. He stopped by yesterday and I had to break the bad news. Hopefully we’ll see some action with the remaining seeds.
I took cuttings last weekend so no roots yet in the EZcloner. Hopefully in another week to ten days I’ll be able to start new moms, plus drop rooted clones into Octopots for a quick veg. My harvest calendar is a bit off from losing those tester plants so I’ll take shortcuts to make up some of that time.

Sorry if you’ve already mentioned this, but what do you soak them in? I’ve found that adding a little fulvic seems to work well. I mean, that’s the only way I’ve ever done it haha, so I don’t even know if it’s the fulvic acid that’s making a difference, but yeah, I get pretty great germination rates with just RO water and fulvic and putting the shot glasses on a heating pad.
I certainly would have preferred they stayed ladies, but I knew going in they were untested and chose to take the gamble.
In the past I haven’t soaked at all - just planted seed directly in soil. I had a few rounds where that didn’t provide great germination rates so I started soaking overnight in a shot glass of plain RO water which seemed to help. I was surprised I didn’t get a single one to pop last round. I dug around in the Solo cups and found that two had extended the tap root but then they fizzled out. I had been reusing soil, so for the replant yesterday I used fresh ProMix. Hopefully the second batch cooperates. If not, I might pivot to Bodhi’s Temple V2 which is SSH x Williams Wonder. Then again, I’ve been eyeing my pack of Umeboshi (Killer Queen x Wookie 15, Killer Queen = G13 x C99)…
That’s how I always did it, too, but for some reason I switched to soaking a few years ago, can’t remember now what the reason for that was haha. I didn’t really ever have issues just planting the seeds directly into the soil, but I do like the soaking thing. Fulvic and RO seems to work well, but, like I said, that’s the only way I’ve ever done it, so I dunno if the fulvic makes a difference or not.
It might be worth trying, anyway, especially for those older seeds.

Quick update: the second half of the Williams Wonder F4 pack also did not sprout.
I needed to confirm the issue was with this pack of seeds and not my methods or environment. Reusing the same Solo cups with ProMix, I dropped five seeds after an overnight soak in RO water. That was on Friday and three of those were above soil this morning! I’ll submit sex tests to the lab in a couple of weeks, but I’m hopeful I’ll soon have some God Bud 2.0 ladies growing in Octopots.
I was part of a large group buy a few years ago that got wholesale pricing from Jordan Of The Islands. I split the order with a local friend and we ended up with 5 seeds each of 17 different JOTI strains. The Pure Blueberry (Blueberry Muffin Edition) I recently harvested is from those. My friend has grown several of the varieties which I’ve been able to sample but I don’t believe she has done the God Bud yet.
It definitely feels weird not having any plants going - just some cuttings in the cloner and seedlings in their chamber. Doing the math, it’s likely I’ve already had my last harvest of 2024! Maybe I can flip a clone early to get something to chop before NYE, but probably not. I’ll still post progress pics in here until 2025.
