The whole family.
1 of the CGR HF has normal growth! If I had more of these seeds I’d just let it go, but I don’t and I want at least 1 female, sooooo…
The whole family.
One of my Zaps did the same thing, just started shriveling up and fizzling out. At first, I thought it was a different phenotype haha, but it turns out it was just a mutant freak not long for this world. I finally tossed it today.
Everything else in your garden is looking good, though haha…
Yeah, I’m gonna cave and toss the mega runt. I’ll still try to run the other one through, nothing to lose really.
Sorry about the delay in response, it’s strange but my own thread is the one I’m the worst at replying to haha.
I’m at the full veg dose of Megacrop now, +542 ppm (1.1ec). Also just starting to need to water the MWs twice a day, the HB and LBFs are still only once a day. I’ll grab some pics this evening.
Supposed to be at 12/12 on 12/1, so I’m gonna continue reducing light hours progressively until then. I try not to shock them by dropping a bunch of hours all at once.
Haha, I’m not worried about it, definitely not sitting here wondering,”Why the fuck hasn’t potpotpot responded to my post yet???” I typically forget that I’ve even written something about two minutes after I’ve posted it haha…
So all the basement insulation stuff is on hold. Took stock of the situation and recognized that I have some more important work to do in the basement, before I start doing grow related stuff. So I am going to move, mostly, upstairs for the winter. I’m going to pile all the leftover reflectix around the wire rack and see if I can keep it warm enough, without adding more heat, to do some autos or male seclusion or cloning or whatever other stupid thing I choose to do. First task will be letting the HF and LBF in veg for a week or two til they get used to the transplant I did yesterday. I will move the solo cup plants this weekend, if my plan works. Setup Saturday, run overnight for a brief shakedown, move Sunday. I even have a more modestly sized tent coming in for upstairs. I’ll still use the big one downstairs once it warms up some.
Plants looking happy as fuck, waiting for the other shoe to drop haha. Obvious place to fumble is the move upstairs, but we’ll see.
Also you can see my heat source in one of those, a ceramic heat emitter pointed at the concrete floor. Warms it up very gently. Always on, +10ish lights off, not quite +15 lights on.
Got the tent set up, need to replace a few things that I should have thrown away, but cleaned and kept instead. Nice clean fan, too bad it takes a few spins to “warm up” and come to speed. Seems like a fire waiting to happen, so in the trash she goes. Gonna order a couple tonight, powerstrip maybe, get everything squared away during the week after work, move plants this weekend.
Here’s a sneak preview though. Way smaller than the other, but at least it fits without being stupid. My wife saw it and said “Awwww, it’s cute!”
I guess it is kind of cute haha.
Where would you put it? Outside the tent?
I’d sure want it outside. I’ve seen a piece of plywood laid on top of the tent be enough to support the fan/filter weight.
Yeah, outside the tent is the only other real option. I like @HorseBadorites idea, and I’m sure I’ve got a piece of plywood “in stock” that would be an ok size. Throw a couple layers of foam or soft rubber down to absorb some of the vibration maybe.
Also I’m bad with dates. I thought that the switch date for the solos was 12/1, but it is actually 12/13! I’m already down to 13.5/10.5, so I’m going to drop another 30mins this weekend, then another 30 next weekend, and the final switch to 12/12 on 12/13.
Broke a top almost all the way off yesterday trying to bend it over. They just keep coming back up, and I can’t seem to get the stems to “snap” like I normally do. Normally can roll them between my fingers and feel the fibers snapping, and just lay the stem over. Not with this lady. Slapped a splint on and refocused my attention on the main stem.
Really all I’m looking for is the lower branches to catch up.
Ouch! So much for “Tallest Lady in a Dixie!” lol
Ojala que se mejore pronto amigo,
-Grouchy
Idk, she might still be in the running, the way she is stretching and shrugging off my attempts to tame her.
She does still have both tops, and I’m pretty sure the snapped one will heal back up. The bend I put in the main stem will slow the tops down, but once they turn back to the light I think they’ll go right back to growing like mad. Hopefully time for the lowers to catch up a bit.
The Mexican Widow is recovering very, very well.
And everyone else looks happy too! Hard to tell from the whole tent shot, but the HBF and LBF are all poppin off, even the runt, who will get transplanted tonight. I’ll take some better pics then, had just watered and didn’t wanna get drips anywhere haha.
Also, the middle LBF looks to have some balls, but I think I see pistils on the right HF, which I was not expecting given the structure of it.
Got the filter setup up top. Used pieces of cord to isolate the filter and fan from the board, worked too haha. Unexpected benefit of the wood is I can secure my power strips to it, outside of the tent. Obviously right now they’re just sitting there for the shakedown run.
Been busy at work, so this just happened this afternoon. Next steps will happen when they do haha.
Just buy this & your gonna be happy!
I’ve been using this brand product for a few years & I’ve never been happier, even though power outages… Do it… @potpotpot
I’ve got 3 of them Excatlty the one linked here, IF they ever died, I’d buy more in 3 seconds…
@CADMAN I don’t know about that. I’ve managed to keep my home free of any Alexa stuff so far haha. That’s a bit too spooky for my liking.
I have gotten lazy enough I have seriously considered a Clapper for one room that has a poorly placed light switch though haha.
