BeagleZ' COPA Cabana

NA, once I put something in the bed, it stays where it is. Ive never removed anything, just put the new on top of the old. However, as you can see im running low on room ,lol so I’ll prob have to start removing some to apply more top dresses.

I just saw a bunch of posts about this kind of system, looks really cool, essentially just a big blumat system right? Plants look disgustingly healthy as per usual dude, hope you got a killer tan out there in NC :call_me_hand:t2::call_me_hand:t2:

What about a couple of these? Then you would not need to disturb the bed. These have worked out real good on the house plants.

hahaaa, thats a cute idea!!
you have these??

This looks like a really simple way to do it that I’ve been considering for some beds in my garden that are in the direct sun all the time:

University of Arizona- Olla irrigation .pdf (664.9 KB)

Yup, Mrs Berries got them for me as a gift. They work real good actually.

I’ve used ollas in the past outdoors in raised garden beds when I didn’t have the best irrigation set up and they work great as an additional source but I wouldn’t want to fully rely on the ollas as my sole irrigation either.

Do you have your fabric bed sitting in a grow or flood tray or is it directly on your tent floor? I have my bed inside a flood tray with a couple of inches of 3/8" lava rock on the bottom which helps absorb extra runoff while also allowing it to wick back into the beds as the soil allows.

It sits on a flood tray. But, I had to cut the sides off to fit in the tent so its just the bottom of the tray with the channels but no capacity to really hold much water.

Happy Thursday Fam, or as I like to call it, Little Friday…

Update for day 20 from flip. Things are poppin off in here.
Seems the girls liked the unripe blue berry FFJ quite a bit. Still alternating between WCP and WCA in the bloom formulas. Added just a touch of FAA and LAB to last nights mix.

I did a few more JLF waterings since last post, one Canna and one BBmisc from last season.

Second trellis was added a few days ago.

Rice hulls were added on top last week and I finally got the straw to put down last night so everyone is tucked in and cozy.

Debating on if I’ll do another defoliation or not, at very least I think the GSD#1 needs a little. She’s damn bushy!

On with the fun, here’s the group shot…

GSDxAPPY#1, shorter of the 2. Stocky, lots of bud sites, lots of leaves…

GOJIxAPPY#1, this one is wide and bushy, slightly taller than #2. Really like the structure on both of the Goji’…

GOJIxAPPY#2, the shortest in the tent. Christmas tree shape without topping, tight internodes…

GSDxAPPY#2, the tallest lady in the tent. Seems to be much more sativa leaning than the others. Thin leaves longer internodes but with ample bud sites. Might get some spears off this one…

Full to the brim

I noticed a few ants the other night. Might be time to spread this soil out into pots and EB’s for veg gardening after this run.
I’d like to reset with my own soil mix anyway. I should have enough EWC and compost by the time these girls finish if I don’t already, which I prob do but prob not enough for a top dress after.

That’s it for today, hope everyone finishes up the week right!
Y’all be good, good vibes y’all :sunglasses:

Banging!!! My bed is getting pretty full too so I was thinking about turning all mine into veg soil. Or at least some. My COPAs are still doing great. I think around day 60ish of flower now. Just not enough time to snap pics, been getting destroyed being on call this week and having a huge harvest that was ready for jars sucked up all my time.

Keep up the good work!!

Awesome progress! I truly love what you do and can’t wait to see you do the same with the CripXmas soon. It’s going to a 5 star performance to watch. Magical view there, I used to live in a beach house w my grandparents, I needed to pinch myself at times to see if I was dreaming having surf in my backyard. Enjoy it’s a very connected feeling being at the beach and ocean :parasol_on_ground::ocean::sunny::relaxed:

Your up next in the queue @OriginalDankmaster96. Should be getting some beans wet soon. Going to wait till I harvest this round as I need to figure out what I’m doing with the soil in here. I may be doing more than the standard re-amend all the sudden :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

What up Fam, got a quick update tonight. I shoveled, transported and spread 10 yards of mulch this weekend and it kicked my ass. I’m too old for that shit lol
Anyway, here we are at day 30 of 12/12…

As per usual the bed has had a few feedings of the JLF’s, alternating between the canna and the blueberryMisc.
Been foliar feeding with FruitFormula, mixing with the blueberry and banana FFJ’s. Gave prob the last foliar last night/this morning. Drenching from here on out. Haven’t decided if I’ll drench the KNF or just continue with the JADAM drenching. I might just keep doing the JLF’s up till the last few weeks and then drench the HarvestFormula for a week or 2 since I got some good FruitFormula feedings in already…

That’s all I got for now,

Don’t be talking like your younger self never got tired after a hard day’s work, it’s not your age, working hard gets everyone tired regardless of age!
Go easy on yourself!

It’s not the tired part, I enjoy a good hard days work. It’s more the knots and spasms in my back :older_man:
It just can’t take it anymore
