I think the closest we got up here are salamanders, the red kind, not sure they’d do too much if I put one in the tent

Hey hey hey, what up fam.
Im able to spend some quality time in the corner tonight. The wife went to bed early and work is done(for now), so thought I’d do one of those update things.

I think everyone knows what I’m about to say… everyone’s doing great but the FOTM is still weirding me out. It has actually crossed my mind to cut her out and give the light to the ones that want to be there. Would that be too extreme of me?

Let’s get to the photo tour shall we…

Let’s start with the EathBox.
What can I say… Im pretty keen on it. I keep hacking away at her and she keeps chugging along. It’s been a few days since flip. I have decided to not even keep track of her days/weeks/hours. I’m going to go solely by trichomes. I want to drive her into the ground, going for an all amber or close to it harvest.

Here’s a little peak under the hood, I think I have them all :sunglasses:

The 3x3 is performing great. I’m happy with rate of breakdown, tons of soil dwelling life and the girls that matter are loving life.

Vpd is on point. Going to stop by the organic store and see about renting their apage. I want to check that against this app, that I wrap a piece of paper around my phone with.

I’m pretty sure most of the issue might be too much light on the :fire::mountain_snow: . She has been pretty weird and lanky since I got her but thought I could revive her. I don’t know, maybe she just doesn’t like my soil, that’s fine, I learned from BBQ, you can’t please everybody all the time, there’s always going to be at least one.

Again, I have thought about cutting her down now. Do I need you guys to talk me off that ledge, or should I jump?..

And a bic reference…

In contrast all the Twenty20 women are looking fineee. Just starting to put off some smell but don’t want to comment on that yet. They are all super sticky. The strength on these are unreal, they literally feel like pencils.
The bic shot to compare to…

A peak from under…

My ladies…

Love seeing these flowers everyday…

And a peak under this hood…

Lenny is doing good. Adjusting well I think.
Comfortable enough to take a shit :sunglasses:

Here’s the new ST mom. Bonsai’ing her. The plan is the spiral her around herself maybe?..
Oh… bottom watered only from the start on this one @Rogue :+1:

I think that’s enough for tonight. Time for a few bowls. Y’all stop and chat if your around, talk me off that ledge.

Edit: Need to do a deep clean this weekend, things have been a little chaotic and have not been able to keep up with the little stuff.

Hey bud! Killer update; the soil life video is always my favorite!
Spiraling bonsai are the coolest in my opinion, so I support your instincts there.
With the finicky plant, I’m on team “let it ride”, but if you’re gonna give her the chop, maybe take a few clones and see if she can be dialed in, in the future?

I would let anything ride unless it pops nanners out of the top buds heh.

Thanks pal! Yeah, I can’t seem to get enough of all those little guys. So cool. And to think I was so so very sterile for so long, it’s crazy to think back about freaking out about this stuff.

I don’t think I’m going to jump into anything, at this point it is what it is and there is part of me that hopes she’s just a late bloomer still. Need to talk to the keeper of the mother.

Was actually thinking of putting my grip hat on and rigging a 1/4 diffuse screen over the :fire::mountain_snow:
And see if that helps. I really think it’s getting way too much light and maybe it just stalled.

Give it a shot; even if it doesn’t help, no harm done if it’s between that and the :axe:
My poor FOG Dog has been transplant shocked (uneven moisture in the small pot), malnourished (didn’t understand feeding autos), and dehydrated (top watered a new soil mix with too much aeration, and no wetting agent). I feel like I’m gonna be lucky to get an 1/8th off her, but damnit I’m keeping her alive!

Did not realize this was a thing till a few days ago . So the key is to front load it , yeah?
To be honest, and not to talk down on it, but I never gave autos a second of thought until I started getting generous offerings from OG’ers :sunglasses:

I might just give it a shot, I have another 3weeks or so before I could put it outside.

Do you think I should start now and then put out after the frost threat?

According to @Foreigner in my auto thread, yes!

I live in a literal desert, so frost is basically never a concern :bear::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:, plus I’ve never grown (weed) outdoors, so not much help from me in that question.
Theoretically though, we know cannabis doesn’t mind being transplanted, so I say do what you’re planning on and get that seed started!

Maybe I’ll do a stackpot method with it

Dude! If you do rent their Apage, let me know!! I’ll split the costs. I need to dial in my Qb96’s before the maiden voyage.

Copy that, assumed anyways

Killer update @BeagleZ everything looks great. My flower run is riding the struggle bus right now, so I’m living vicariously through yours and others. Super rad you have a shop that’d let you rent a meter like that, wish I had something like that near me, I’m using probably the same app you are w/ a paper diffuser. Also; you’re a BBQ guy eh?? What’re we talking? Smoker? Charcoal? Hank hill style propane guru? The wife got me a traeger last year for Father’s Day so I’ve been falling down that rabbit hole a while now, starching some wings today to smoke tomorrow.

Oh and just FYI, the earthbox is supposed to be killer for autos if you’re thinking about dabbling. Jeremy from BAS is about to pop some autos and put em in an EB on the YouTube series if you wanna check that out

I’m thinking of picking up a wattage meter. That would accomplish the same thing right?

Kill-a-watt meter is killer, I use one with my HLG 225 to dial in the power, super helpful in that instance since there no potentiometer knob w/ markings, just a screw in the driver, pretty reasonable price too, got mine at harbor freight, much cheaper than elsewhere

Not sure, do you have a link to one your looking at?

Just now ordered this and it should be here by end of day. Thank you @LegsMahoney thats just what I was looking for. Do you keep your HLG light dialed back to 50-75%?
