There are a lot of photos of my inside plants on my previous threads.
Ok, just got to Elliot Lake to visit my Mom. Rolled a reefer and came outside to this. It wasn’t quite this beautiful with the naked eye, but the camera sure caught it. If you’re in Ontario go outside and look up.
Wtf i cant see anything like tgis in Scarborough.
I thibk the t.dot light pollution is ruining things like this for us.
Friends in Burlington got some cool photos too. To bad you couldn’t see it.
I went out at 8pm, 10pm and 1am.
NOTHING.
Fucking T.Dot ruins everything it touches these days.
I have an app that tracks solar stuff.
YESTERDAY I WAS GETTING NON STOP ALERTS. 3 Days ago there was an extreme coronal mass ejection and I got an alert for when it impacted the planted.
This alert was pretty much “Hey! Shit’s extreme right now I hope you don’t have a pace-maker.”
So of course it was pretty last night but sadly not for us.
That is cool
Sorry you missed it. Hope you at least enjoy the photos.
It aparently was over the hood last night. Neigbours got photos but mentioned the effect was most pronounced at 10pm (i did check after then) and through a camera that offers a night mode (I didn’t check).
So tonight the mrs and I will have a bong with our phones this time
If you like that, you should check out the mutant thread. You will probably love some of those things.
What a beautiful color. That was taking in Aussie land I believe?
And I just found out today, that the hockey game, that was to be played here by the NHL teams when Elliott Lake won the Kraft hockeyville, was played in Sudbury on September 29th between Pittsburgh and the Ottawa Senators.
Was that cus of logistics, or rink size?
Kinda crappy if they changed it for some other reasons.
WTF?!
How rude!?!
Yes the rink here would barely hold 50 people. Sudbury has a much bigger rink.
I was really hoping they would have had an outdoor game here, it would have been great for the community and they play on outdoor rinks in other areas. I guess the biggest issue would be our infrastructure with accommodations and restaurants to feed a couple of thousand people.
Takes a few mins for the eyes to adjust enough to see it. I learned that earlier this year when we could see it around the Great Lakes region
After a few minutes I could see shimmers, little waves of light rippling across the sky. They got more pronounced as I focused on them. Some moved quickly others slow. Ranging in colors from green to purplish. It was really cool and nothing like I expected from still images
Photos of the aurora seem like longer exposures most of the time. The result of taking everything that happens over a few seconds to a few minutes and capturing it motionless in one frame. Seeing it in person is like seeing the lines being drawn & colored on a painting then fade away
Of course, even the slightest glance at a dim phone screen is enough to undo it all. Takes a few mins to adjust fully back
Yeah matey was a really dark red down here. We don’t get to see things like that very often down here. Loving your harvest pics matey.
