Thanks for the kind words! I was a bit worried the transplant would be rough but it seems it went off without a hitch.

Mrs. Beard is finally home! after her third stay in the hospital. Hopefully she can stay outta there for a while this time. Plants are still looking really good this evening. I germed the side car and a sour bluetooth the other night. Iā€™m waiting to see what seeds from my wiki wins come in before I decide what else to run.

Iā€™m out of space on my veg shelf, luckily itā€™s getting nice enough out I can start moving things into the green house. Once the shelf is free of veggies and flowers Iā€™m gonna play around with cloning so I can get the hang of it.

Not much else to update on. Happy to have the wife home again. Now I only one more day till I get this wretched tooth ache taken care of. Maybe Iā€™ll begin to regain my sanity soon.

Glad they came up. Theyā€™re definitely a special tomato in my opinion. Keep me updated on how they do. I typically start indoors and transplant outside. Iā€™ve never had good luck direct sowing tomatoes.

Ya I have a bunch of other tomatoe plants getting bigger in the green house, but the weather was just changing so I figured Iā€™d direct sow. They were down a few inches too in the slot where I pushed the frame down. So they did really good. Iā€™ll be able to run them up this old metal bed frame thing.

Still no sex showing in these afghanis besides the one male. Makes me hopeful I have at least 3 females, AA5 is about a week or so behind the others. I noticed AA2 looks significantly different from the other two in the pot. It has much longer leaf stems, deeper serrations and the leaves all point towards the center . Where as the other two are much tighter and compact and resemble eachother.

Also AA2 was the one that was not fed the blood, bone and gypsum mix. Not sure if itā€™s related. Looks more like genetics to me.

That long stemmed one definately looks different. The way I understand it there may be some phenos unlocked these being f2, so might find some interesting plants.
They look great and 3in there should be prefect.
Iā€™m thinking the same on my larger one as it hasnā€™t shown balls yet that it must be a female. Fingers crossed.

Well im 3 teeth lighter after yesterday. I cant tell you how much better my face feels despite how sore i am. That guy was quick as a fart too! I dont think I even saw his face. He came in said hi numbed me up, left, came back said ok lets begin, not even 10 min later both wisdom teeth and the problem tooth were out. Last time I had a tooth pulled they had to strap my head to the chair while the dentist braced his foot against the head rest and pulledā€¦ no, yanked the tooth out. I was there for 3 hours. I was in and out in less than an hour this time. This guy deserves that pay check.

The sidecar and BOG SBT seeds are in dirt. I planted the Sidecar directly in the 5 gal bucket where she will spend the rest of her days. SBT is in a solo cup. They both had a healthy tap root when i put them in dirt so fingers crossed.

I brought out all the veggies to the green house to make room for mor flats to start indoors. Its been nice enough out and not too cold at night. gonna have to be on that green house like a hawk though. those temps spike quick once the sun comes out.

and my oregano is coming back up after being in the greenhouse for a couple weeks.

Man have I been there. I usually had dentists with their knee on my chest doing an extraction. Last one I said Iā€™ll spend the $30 for the gas and man was it much better.

Well shit. Two of the 3 Afghanis in the pot turned out to be boys. So that leaves one female and one unknown AA. And oh boy did I almost kill little AA6. I had already put it in a 5 gal bucket, silly me thought I could dig it up and transplant since it had only been in there a day. Should be easy, done it a million times. Well I done goofed. Was all going well untill I was moving it to itā€™s new home and all the dirt crumbled, a big Chunk fell off and took a good amount of the root ball with it. I stuffed it the hole and gave it a root soak. That was Thursday night and itā€™s still looking good. No drooping leaves. Probably will be stunted. Maybe it will be a candidate for pollination of it doesnt do much.

So after that whole ordeal I popped my two 24k gold auto fems into a paper towel. Im waiting for the sidecar to make an appearance soon hopefully. The BOG SBT I threw in a cup just peak itā€™s head so thatā€™s exciting.

Overall not too bad, going to be behind schedule but I figured that could happen.

Man I canā€™t catch a break for nothing. I decided move the autos outside to get some sun. At some point( I think it was the wind and the shade cloth) the main stem cracked. I tried taping it up and wrapping a bread tie around the help support it. Fingers crossed it recovers. If not I guess I just cropped it way lower than I would want to. Oh well thatā€™s life I guess. The one that was transplanted seems to be doing well so far so thats a bright side. The side car still hasnā€™t come up, Iā€™m loosing hope for that one. The 24k golds have split open. Gonna wait for a nice taproot.

I still have 4 afghani seeds and one auto fem chocolope left if it all goes south. Man Iā€™m upset about the sidecar and the plant breaking. Iā€™m down to one female and I broke it, hoping the little one turns out female. No signs of sex yet.

The sour bluetooth is in the green house doing well. Stretching a bit but thatā€™s ok. The blue frankenshine is doing alright although growth seems slow. Iā€™ll bring it in under the light and hit it with some feed tonight. Maybe time to upot to something a bit bigger. I need to grow it out to clone and sex it.

Didnā€™t I send you another pack of the afghani autos?
Thatā€™s a bummer about the wind. Was super windy here today too. Frankenstein is an N hog. She likes to eat. Like really eat. So the Frankenshine may be the same.

Iā€™ve only ever got the one in the mail so if ya did, it never made it. I donā€™t recall you telling me you sent some but canā€™t recall a lot of things. Thatā€™s good to know Iā€™ll be sure to keep the N higher than normal on that one.

It was fault for not securing the cloth. Some lessons are learned the hard way.

Figured since id update real quick since work is slow today. AA3 is still hanging in there. Gonna keep her wrapped for a while longer and see whatā€™s what.by this weekend maybe. Was looking a little droopy yesterday but I fed it and she seems to be happy for the time being. Still no sex on AA6 over there. Hoping itā€™s a female. This 15 gallon pot is a bit much for one automatic :joy:

Cool thing about autos is you can add more to that pot with out worrying about what stage they are in.

Yeah thatā€™s probably what end up doing. My original plan was to put my photo in there when the autos finished. But I have more pots so no big deal

AA3 is going strong. New growth looks healthy. Might need a bit of Nitrogen but otherwise way better than expected. Iā€™m super happy about it so far. Iā€™m gonna take off the wrap when I get home and hope for the best. AA6 is doing well still sign of sex.

I keep forgetting to update yā€™all on these Emmy lou tomatoes. I give up! Nothing seems to make them happy. They donā€™t like wet soil, dry soil , just right soil. They donā€™t like humidity, they donā€™t like dry air, they donā€™t like solo cups and they donā€™t like my raised beds. They just donā€™t wanna do jack shit and Iā€™m calling it quits. For reference I started these old german tomatoes at the same time as the Emmy lous.
