Hey all. I’m thinking of starting up a new thread. This one is getting long winded and when new folks come they have like 3000 posts to go thru.
What do you think. New or just continue here?
LOL, It’s kinda like looking at your ugly school photos from the sixth grade…
You’ve improved, and now you got some ‘hot’ photos to spread around town.
I say strut what you got, and the past is the PAST!
Out with the old and bring on the new!!!
Whatever trail you choose to take, I will keep following.
I don’t always comment but I love seeing your posts and grows.
Laura Ingraham is exploring marijuana use and mass shootings. I knew it was coming.
Reefer Madness.
She said that the boys grandmother and grandfather forbid him from smoking cannabis so he shot grandma in the face and then went to the school.
So they are calling it marijuana psychosis. Then her guest was talking about how many more traffic fatalities we have had. And violent crime. Just since dispensaries opened up.
Stop posting so many responses of beautiful plants in a row! I only get so many likes a day!
I think stay here I never mind going back through archives to learn and gain the whole picture
She is not news she is politic and will do anything to avoid the elephant in the room. So watch a few westerns and how once they are into the whiskey they shoot guns, then watch a stoner movie
I am not ashamed to admit. I carry almost everywhere I go.
The reason is because of fucking idiots like that school shooter.
I am ex-military though. And I have been CLEET Certified.
I want someone to tell me how an 18 year old kid, just turned 18 days ago, can go into a gun store and purchase an AR-15, and two days later, go buy another. I realize, it’s the way the law is, but God dam let’s be real. 99% of these shootings are by minors. They can’t even buy a beer, but they can buy assault weapons???
Besides that, I don’t see how many new laws would have prevented that massacre. Criminals don’t give a shit about laws.
Ok off my soap as.
So a 21 age limit for purchase would be OK by you too? That is probably the only new law I think I would vote for. I would be on board with that though.
Not trying to pull you back up on the box. Just wondering if a level head agrees with me. lol
Yes. I think 21 is more mature. I don’t mean to say that everyone is mature at 21 and not at 18.
I just feel like if you are not an adult, you have no need for a weapon. Unless you are out hunting with an adult. Or target practice. The key is ‘with adult supervision’.
I have several guns. I can honestly say, I have never had one just up and shoot all by itself.
The answer is not to ban guns. Or gun sales. The gun industry is very mature, meaning that pretty much, anyone who wants a gun, has a gun. So that genie is out of the bottle. So, what, collect all the guns already out there? Good luck with that. Do you want to be the guy going door to door demanding their weapons? Neither would I.
Believe it, or not, I have been tongue lashed for even bringing the age limit up by people I thought might have been amenable to the idea. I get things like “Given that law, they would just dig in and add more restrictions and next thing they’ll be at the door coming for all your guns”.
And no. I wouldn’t want that job. Not for all the gold left in Alaskan dirt.
There was a shooting in Canada a while ago by a guy pretending to be a cop. After that they banned all assault rifles. After the recent shootings in the us they froze all handgun sales and transfers. If Canada keeps tightening the rules for the ones that follow the law and rules we won’t even be allowed to go hunting soon.
It’s a little concerning how Canada has been handling this issue
When I think of Canada, I picture a nation of outdoors-men and women. Hunting and fishing has always been synonymous, in my mind, with the culture up North.
It amazes me how the Canadian people haven’t gotten rid of Trudeau, and all his like, before now. I mean, he’s as popular as an STD. Right?
Just a question and please don’t think I’m some gun hating bow tie wearing know it all, but…
does anyone hunt with assault rifles?
Honest question, I really don’t know…
I just know bow hunters really.
I’m sure there’s folks out there with the big guns though. I’ve heard some nearby my land last year.
Seems more sporting to me
I do have a buddy that does civil war reenactments and he hunts with a muzzle loader.
I hear big guns everyday, but pretty sure it has nothing to do with food sovereignty lol
I’m not saying that you should only use firearms for hunting. I do understand that they are fun and recreation but as things get out of hand I’m just wondering how many bullets is actually necessary to fire in one second to qualify as fun.
I mean lawn darts were the funnest thing I remember when I was a kid, but can you buy those anymore??
Just being devils advocate here
Edit, they do sell lawn darts but with balls on the ends lol
