BigMike55’s Ongoing Cannabis Log (Part 2)

For outdoor growers. I have a question.
I’m not much on outdoors grows. But I am trying.
Here’s my scenario.
I vegged some plants indoors for a while. When the weather turned fairly nice I put them outside. I have a Skywalker in a 10 gallon pot. I put my tired mother plants straight into the ground. And a nice Zamadelica plants. Again all these were vegged inside for a while. The plan was to get them outside and grow a couple trees.
Now I have noticed that my Frankenstein mother, the Skywalker and the Zamadelica are flowering.
Is this normal? Did I put them out too soon? Will they quit flower and go back into veg mode. If not, am I looking at harvest in late July instead of October? Help!!

Yes

No…unless there is frost. By May 3rd we are past the 90% chance of no frost, but keep an eye on the weather. If we have a late freeze, cover them.

Yes. The reveg growth will look weird for a few weeks, but they’ll go back to veg. Better to get that transition period over with now, so they’ll have plenty of veg time before regular flower in late summer.

I’m surprised the plants I put in the ground haven’t started to flower. They were 24hrs lights on ever since they were snipped from other plants that were 24hrs lights on too. Usually, if I put 24hrs on clones outside, the sudden change in light cycle shocks them into flower and reveg, but I am not seeing it so far in my garden.

Yes you jumped the gun by about a month. Mid May they would have probably stayed in veg or just pre-flowered. They will go back to veg though so no worries, just slowed them down a little.

I’ve always had my lights for my starters on and off the same time the sun will rise and set when I plant, but that’s in another month up here.

Well if those blow yer dress up, how bout some more???
How bout Frankenstein little over 3 weeks.

And lastly this Crystal Skull Kush a little over two weeks in flower. When I put her in flower she was half as tall as the Frankenstein. In fact I had her up on boxes to even out the height. Now she is abot 6 inches taller than Frankie and no boxes. Straight on the floor. And her flowers look good too.

@Tracker check out the early frost on that last pic. That a clone of your girl, thank you sir!

That Frankie is put off a nice bit of stink already. Can’t place what she smells like tho. I ask Zee what she thinks it smells like. She takes a big huff and says, “Smells like pot!” No help at all.
