I mistimed this a bit. I’m waiting on a room to finish up with some autos. Then I can move half of these girls over. Should be a week or two until they get some breathing room.
These love to grow. Vigorous growth I’d say actually. I’ve topped them and tied them and they still want to go up up up.

Fascinating, thanks! I see some variations in there. The one in front with 3-finger leaves is peculiar.
I’ll be very interested to see how these turn out. This is the cross in looking at using to cross back into black domina, and also as the male when I cross together the blackdak and lowdak lines.
Both blackdak and black Afghani are very potent indicas. You might find the devil in there.

Boy, vigorous is right! If you tied them down and still got them looking like that they want to grow. It looks like they’re already getting that blackish tint, too. Very nice looking cross.

I have a plant that has stayed 3 finger and a few one finger… real weird, bt it’s pre 98 BubbaKush x Lemon Thai and I heard the Bubba grows squat and weird. I haven’t run it by the maker yet. I lost some tags early and I have two that are similar, as LB is one parent of the other cross.
I have another male and different strain, that did it after I left it with a friend for 2 weeks and it didn’t get much water and was hot on my back porch, so I figured it to be stress. Could be why the other did it… curious to me.

I don’t think it’s uncommon to have a 3 leaf clone. They typically present themselves during an early cut. If I reveg the plant then take a clone I usually don’t get them. But if I cut the clone before the plant goes into flower I sometimes get them. Perhaps no connection, just what I’ve observed.

Here is today. They are under a 400w. I was able to create some space by moving the c99 crosses from painted to my 600w veg room. In 2 weeks these will be moved there.

Those are some intense serrations and really narrow leaves on a few of them. I found the black afghani to grow a little weird, but it seems to straighten out in flower and produces some really stellar herb. Hopefully the blueberry/fuel terps come through in the cross. Loved that.
