Goji OG was one of my first strains to grow ever. I popped only a few at a time each year, I recall getting a few males and culling them. I can’t say I remember anything about the Goji OG on it’s own now. I didn’t take notes then, so reading through people’s impressions of Goji & Snow Lotus here is fascinating. Many have written these off for having intersex issues and lack of smells. My Goji must have been a berry pheno because I get very strong smells from my cross; I vaguely remember breaking down reeking berry buds I let dry to brown on the plant for seeds.
I actually had one purple pheno Mommy Magic getting too tall this year so I cut her main tops back at 6’ and harvested her with all white hairs. The quality doesn’t seem to be limited by an early harvest. She easily could have gone 3 more weeks.
I have 2, F1 Goji OG seeds left, and spending so much time on OG has reminded me these seeds were made well before I actually purchased, making them about 5years older than I have been thinking. I guess I should decide what to do with them.
@HolyAngel You would be a saint if you can post an example of OG growth and Kush growth. Try as I might, everytime I think I get it I see another photo and description that confuses me. Bonus points if you can tell me what they smell like.
You got some beauties there mate. Dont see many folks mentioning S1’ing their bodhi picks. Ive actually done the same thing this round reversing my “keepers” of sakura and s1 them and pollinated a few others. Cant wait to harvest then try out those seeds
Bro i don’t mean to be debby downer, but i tested these for bodhi, and they were pretty on par with the vintage jack report from @syzygy … prolly the least exciting pack ive grown from bodhi… there were 0 jack terps on the 3 fems i had… which is kinda of a good thing bc i hate jack ahha
I would concur on this. I f2’d them and thought they were pretty meh. The light green phenos were ok it reminded me of good mids from high school if that makes sense.
Edit- I misread that and thought you were talking about the Jack herer x snow lotus pack.

Now seems as good a time as any to say, I ripped open my Menehune & Higher Education packs when they arrived and each had 13 seeds. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it says 10pk.
OG is Kush tho. Tall lanky stems, tight and dense nuggety buds, no long cola’s. Generally pretty good Calyx to Leaf ratio.
I could see some thinking something like Bubba or the Suge that’s squat and leafy is the ‘Kush’ growth compared to the tall lanky growth being ‘OG’, but to my eye, the squat leafy one’s are NL leaners, not Kush/OG leaning.
