Bodhi Guide - Seed and Strain Discussion (Part 2)

I’m thinking the same, I’m sitting on 2x packs right now in the dedicated seed fridge with desiccant

Ah, so they did. I’m terrible about reading Paul’s emails, particularly when GLG keeps sending %$#%#% emails without any info about the upcoming Bodhi drop (kidding about the swearing part).

I haven’t sold anything on Srainly in about 3 years, but they use to have a tier system that allowed a small timer like myself to sell a limited number of packs for free.
@40ampstofreedom I see people auction old Bodhi packs on IG all the time.
They seem to go quick

I have a small amount of F2 Mountain Temple to trade

Yeah, I find it super weird… you can’t even sell bottles to a licensed reseller.

I know supposed retail prices aren’t a good indicator of what a private seller could expect to get, but of all the bottles I have only one was ever really valuable in my eyes. My wife was always saying we should sell it, but I urged holding on to it, particularly what with it being illegal to resell. I just did a search, um… maybe I should take some efforts to make sure it’s well cared for. The stupid part is this was the third one I had, I drank the other two within a year or two of receiving them (they were extremely nice when I got them but they felt like a crazy extravagance that should be savored but enjoyed).

To get slightly back on topic after my digression, I should really figure out a way of ensuring my wife doesn’t just throw away my jars of seeds should I die unexpectedly. Admittedly we don’t even have wills, maybe that’s step one. Hard telling people there’s money in the banana stand without them asking just how much money you spent on the banana stand.

I literally only use Strainly because I have no other options. They weren’t the best before their Bitcoin cash grab, now they’re borderline garbage.

Whatever algorithm they have that puts your seeds in people’s feeds is a joke, even when you pay to be at the top of the first page there’s barely any traffic and if you don’t pay them monthly for a subscription you’re limited on the number of messages you’re allowed to accept, even though you’re paying to answer the f’ing message to begin with. So they throttle your account if you don’t pay, they flag key words in your profile and have their mods harass you if you try and out them for being crooks, I’ve got the e-mails to prove it, childish keyboard warrior mod changed his tune real fast when I called him out on all this.

They also started filtering words like “paypal”, “cash app”, “e-mail”, “.com” etc. to further ENTRAP their PAYING F’ING CUSTOMERS into their Bitcoin scheme while some random Canadian (maybe I’m assuming too much with it being based in Canada?) is getting stupid big dumb retard rich off Bitcoin micro transactions and I’m over here doing 4 seeds orders cause I’ve got no other choice

0/10 do not recommend and if anyone has proven alternatives please let me know, everything I’ve dipped my toes into so far hasn’t panned out the best

This is absolutely the hard truth about that place. You know what’s going on there. Actually it’s worse than I started to get an idea about just reading your post. Yeah I saw the throttling too, you get nothing if you don’t pay them. Start free is a joke! Yeah the whole BTC set up just doesn’t protect the vendor from fraud🙄

Anyone running around with BLUEBERRY MOUNTAIN originals or f2’s? Just want to say that and Pura Vida were hands down my favorite bodhi ever. Craziest Fruity pebble smells from day one on Blueberry Mountain and just the most awesome vanilla fruitloops and a little gas on the Pura Vida keeper.

These were the F2’s I got from you last summer. I found a really nice male this round. Thank you again for giving me seeds to this line.

You found all of these out of one pack? They look amazing, I definitely agree with you that all 4 are high quality plants.

You west coasters have some cheap clones out there.

Oh man, that’s a problem.
Purchased a ‘china cat’ clone from them last year in July, it came with thrips & PM, culled it before the end of September.
Do not intend to throw them under the bus…the ‘teen’ looked fine at purchase, I just cannot buy from them again.

Hmm that’s good to know. I know others have purchased here without problems. I’ll have to stop recommending. Seems to be the only place I can find with legit blueberry around here though.

Kali mist x everything adolescents one smells very rubber and skunk and the other one is rubber and :poop: they are maturing fast after a leisurely veg from seed.

First plant sounds like a Ghash cross. 2nd one sounds line a Purple Unicorn cross. When i grew a Kali Mist years ago, it smelled spicy like a frozen pepperoni pizza.

Very much looking forward to smoke reports/ your opinion of the effects.

This is a serious question. I have a single pack of Bodhi seeds and it is a purple color. Looking on the internet I came across a strain called Pinesoul and on Seedfinder it said it is a Green Bodhi strain. My question, does that mean it’s packaged in one of the little green Bodhi packets or is it something different?

Pinesoul is a clone only pheno of Goji OG by Bodhi seeds that was released just over ten years ago.

…which, sadly, does not preclude the dude who stole his breeding moniker from Bodhi stealing the strain name as well. :stuck_out_tongue: Except that this seems to just be a mistake on seedfinder, doesn’t it? Oops.

Green bodhi is a coattail rider who thrives on being confused for the real Bodhi seeds. Green bodhi has all but taken full credit for Bodhi’s Pinesoul and only hides in fine print that it’s neither his creation nor a cut he found from seed.

And lest this post go too far off the Bodhi rails, here’s a couple pics of some Kinky Temples from a few days ago. Somewhere around day 40. Sooo much pineapple aroma in this tent right now.

Been a bit of a rough grow. Most of these were using ac infinity auto watering bases and I finally found the wicks were rotting in the res and causing the roots to rot along with them. Removed the rot and ac infinity bases and hoping to limp to the finish line by top watering.
