Bodhi Plant and seed guide (Part 1)

It’s been more than a bit mysterious up until now, so don’t think you’re the only one whose been mostly in the dark (some people close to Bodhi had the first two releases). What has seemed fairly clear is it’s a new Bodhi series along the lines of Supernatural Selection or Nierika, but focused on sativas and landraces. I hadn’t heard anything new about it since the first photos went out on IG earlier this year, and then Moka had the big news that the first Medicine Mountain releases that are going out through the major banks will be available Thanksgiving.

Man bodhi seems to be collecting companies like he collects plants! Bless that man for all he does!

I grew some Big Sur Nigerian x NL2 testers a couple years ago, turned out incredible. Bodhi should’ve absolutely released that one, but he said he didn’t make very many seeds of it. I’m gonna be all over that Dharma Bum when he releases those.

I’d call it defining lines of work rather than collecting companies.

You’re right, that sounds much nicer, let’s go with that. Either way the more Bodhi the better in my book!!

Only thing is exodus cheese was not from super sativa seed club. It came from skunk#1 from seed bank or just after when Neville sold it to Ben dronkers and it became sensi but think it was still seed bank at time. Exodus were like new age travelers that put on free rave parties in disused buildings and factories and got the cheese off a guy going by the name of wing commander blue who new a guy called of the hill. He knew the exodus collective and was setting up there grow rooms late 80’s early 90’s

They also had nl5 haze which is where the phsychosis comes from

Here’s an Ancient Goji from Copa Genetics, which is Goji OG x Ancient OG F2. I’ve got a couple different F2s and crosses of Bodhi gear that Copa seems to be churning out as freebies the last year or two, this one’s the first I’ve grown and it’s definitely getting revegged. This is about seven weeks into flower, eight from flip. Just some of the best calyx to leaf ratios I’ve ever seen, great bud formation, definitely a thin and leggy OG but pretty manageable so far with a single SCROG net, though I’m doubling up from now on, I think. I tried a tester from this the other morning and it was as people say- happy, uplifting, just a nice calming and positive strain.

I also have a five-pack of the Goji F2s and another five-pack of the Ancient F3s coming from Shoe with an order I just did at HG for their Thanksgiving sale. $45/pack for Bodhi and still buy two get one! At $30/pack I had to get a few things, and threw in Copa’s Crazy Bitch (BOH/Inzane x Black Domina), both because they were down to $35 and for the Ancient freebie. I might have to try my own cross at Goji/Ancient if the stars and my own learning curve align!

it’s like an indie record label that has a different imprint for each genre of music. It’s all just bodhi.

for real. as an example, I harvested an outdoor plant that smelled like nag champa head store incense. After curing in jars for 2 weeks the dried bud smells like… goats.
