Sun Ra 6 weeks flowering. She is starting to frost up a little bit. Having a really challenging time differentiating all her smells. I’m picking up fresh cut grass, citrus, and tropical sun tan lotion. It’s very confusing to be going in all those different directions. Excited to see where she’ll end up!

I wouldn’t say it’s a “minority.” I mean, it is a minority haha, but if you give a shit about sound quality, you’re buying and listening to records. Having said that, you could print Berner’s album on some pre-‘77 vinyl and it’d still suck haha…

Anyone here grow out or know of Cherry Trance , lemon Wookie or sun dance? I wanted something less hybrid like and more sativa/ uplifting like. I had these 3 in my cart to change it up from 88g13 Hp crosses which I have no shortage of.

The high was good, no complaints there. Was it “Sativa”-esque? I guess that depends on what people mean by that. It wasn’t racy or anything. I’m not sure it made me wanna get up and clean the house. But it didn’t make me wanna take a nap or stay plastered to the couch, either.
I’m fucking PISSED that that log has been deleted from thcfarmer, since that log wasn’t even the one that got me banned. And I’m not sure what the logic (no pun intended) is over there, since some of my logs are still up and others aren’t. Fuck the farm.

That would sum it up. Basically something that won’t make me regret smoking it at 1 PM a on a Saturday when I have a busy day ahead of me is the best way to describe it. Nothing racey. Can’t do racey.

I tested the cherry trance x 88hp and kept a sweet cherry Kool aid tasting pheno for a couple years. It did have a great creative, happy high to it and not racy. I do remember it branching out perfect for the scrog net but the buds were smaller and a bit on the leafy side which was the main reason for culling it eventually.

That doesn’t appear to be available. Is there anything from GLG you would suggest that’s readily available? Something more recent?
It sounds like the Lemon Wookie fits that bill perfectly so far. I also know someone who speaks highly of Terpenado. I might consider that one.

Just look at the parent plants and extrapolate. Everybody’s cannabinoid receptors are different. But if you see something that utilizes a mom or dad that you’re familiar with and enjoy on its own, odds are good that you’ll find something you enjoy in the cross, too. And if you’re unfamiliar with the parent plants, research them.

Umeboshi was nice. Idk if I’d grow it again, but I like a more narcotic buzz. It definitely made me happy though. What about ssh x ghash? Or passion fruit hash plant. There is so much bodhi beans and so little time.

If there’s one thing I have noticed about you in my short time here , you love to tell people to search answers in a chat room / forum. Where people come to chat. I don’t get it. Maybe it’s a way of helping, but I don’t see it. If people did as you say, there’s be no point of coming here and talking man. You should know this as a very active poster. You come off as bothered/ annoyed when people ask questions .

Nah, it’s more like I get annoyed when people ask us to tell them what to buy/grow. If you don’t know what you want, how could I know? Like I said, everybody’s cannabinoid receptors are different. What works for me might not work for you. You really are the only person who knows. I’ve read reviews of, say, Silver Mountain or Goji (to keep this Bodhi-related) or Bandaid Haze or whatever, grown them, smoked them and been like,”Yeah, that’s not at all how this weed makes me feel…”
It just seems like a silly, pointless (though oft-repeated, unfortunately) question: “What weed should I grow?” I dunno what weed you should grow. Figure it out.

Simple but good advice that I feel like most of us go by because it’s the best we can do. So many crosses that unless you’re going with a very popular strain like Black Triangle the sample size will be too low to be very useful anyways, even if you ignore the fact that everyone reacts to strains differently.

Damn there’s a lot growin’ on in this thread today. While I’m not a fan of Berner, and his whole perception/image associated with cannabis, I’m trying to keep an open mind with this whole collab. I’m glad B is exposing himself to new markets and I can only speculate on his true motives. I’d LOVE to see him do some more collabs actually, and maybe this is just a one-off, one time thing. I know life changes for everyone, sometimes it’s hard to embrace those changes. We can’t keep growing 88g13hp/SL/Wookie crosses forever, right?! Haha, maybe we can…

Mmmm tropical suntan lotion… I love that smell for some reason. Probably just cuz it reminds me of the beach. I actually keep a candle around my office that smells like suntan lotion, to destress when I need to, haha. Doesn’t look like too much longer on them.
I agree with the above statements… we all love sharing info on the packs we grow here, but in the end, it’s kind of a personal experience. You gotta think that a good bit people buying these bodhi packs, may never even post on the internet, hell they may never even grow them (I may be guilty of a little of this!) The ones that do report their experience can really only give some general info that will be useful to you as the grower… generally how big they grow, structure, bud types, general smells, how fast they finish (maybe). That kind of stuff. There is good info to be found on that kind of stuff, but you really do just have to dig through all the resources… Breedbay, Discord, etc… Personally, all the info on effects, I take with a grain of salt. Everyone is different when it comes to effects… there is no sativa or indica… what makes me creative, makes another guy want to crawl out of his skin with anxiety. Also, effects can change with mood, mindset, and setting.
When it comes to picking seeds to grow, I’ve always have just gone with what speaks to me and what sounds interesting to ME. I try to follow my heart. My guess, is that would be Bodhi’s advice to anyone growing out his gear. Good luck on your quest!

Sundance was good. Nice mix of wookie flavor and lemon Thai effect. Had my friends mom smell the jar and she didn’t believe it was weed, really juicy. Ran it twice and then let it go which my friends were bummed about. Honestly my favorite part about that strain was the feedback it got people seemed to really like it for some reason. I thought it was pretty good but idk people loved it
