I’m a huge Bodhi fan. I think SSDD is one of his legacy plants, if not THE… keeping it going is the least I can do… and I’m hoping to be passing it along to others who are really going to do the work… a pay it forward thing.

I feel the same way about my Lazy Lightning also. Now that I know more of what to expect from a structural standpoint, I would top multiple times rather than just once. These 2 were tiny when I flipped and they easily stretched 3x. Not much in terms of lateral branching. Just lanky main branches. I’m 25 days from flip and mine are starting to show resin production. I underfed early, but came to learn they can take a decent feeding. They’re also drinking quickly.

I think it’s great to have a lot of packs to work with but they all have to be popped grown out and smoked before clones could be sold of them IMHO. In Michigan there are several nurseries selling clones and now some dispensaries. If you’re in a legal market and you’ve got known good plants to offer in clone form for sale then bingo. Good luck. This is a long-term and not a short-term project. Hope you understand that.

Phone home babies at about 5 weeks or so. There are six here getting topped today. Working toward clones then we’re off. Lots of fat leaves here and super aromatic for young vegging plants already. Very indica / TK looking from pictures I’ve seen. Hope everyone is well!

That’s not what I’m here for. I’m just a homegrower that’s been at this for about 12yrs. I get enough complements on my weed that I have been convinced that I should go commercial. I was just trying to upgrade my greenhouse from wood chips to concrete. We splurged and bought roll-up sides. Really, I thought that I was just going to be growing unique flower that nobody else had. I never even heard of Strainly until about a month ago, blew my mind. I never had access to clone only strains.

Yes please. Natural cannabis Pain relief is very helpful but hard to find!
I read Caryophyllene is a good terpene for. pain relief. Sour Diesel, Chemdawg, OG and Bubba have it.

@OkieWormFarmer If you get the seeds to pop and you find one of the desirable phenotypes of SSDD, you might have a desirable product. The selection part of this is key.
If you’re just planning to sell any clone that roots from any SSDD seeds you can grow out, you don’t really have a product except in name only–especially if you’re just planning to sell clones/pollen without testing the end product prior to sale.
As others have said, it’s not a good look for a brand new member.

That’s exactly the plan. It’s obvious. I mean, who knows if somebody who’s explicitly said that they’re desperate for money even has legit packs of SSDD in the first place? My guess is,”No.” Especially when there was someone else (probably the same person) on this thread a while ago who kept dropping hints about their “seven packs of SSDD” and has since disappeared. But either way, your first post is,”Anybody wanna buy some clones of seeds I haven’t even popped yet…”?
Take that shit somewhere else.
Also, I need to get a job haha. I’ve been spending way too much time on OG lately haha!

Pretty sure I figured out who you’re referring to after doing a quick search. I even found a post where that person mentioned their screen name on a different forum. There are definitely similarities in their stories, but outside of someone with mod access, who’s to say they’re really the same person? Especially since the other person has posted on OG as recently as Feb 4 and has been seen reading within the last 24 hours. shrug
Anyway, out of the seeds I popped a few weeks ago, I have sex test results confirming 3 of the surviving 5 seedlings are female–including one Soul Axis. The seedling that looked more intriguing to me (narrower leaf fingers) turned out to be a male. The lone female Soul Axis has leaves that look very similar to early veg from a couple other Snow Lotus crosses I grew (Solo’s Stash and Superstitious).

JOB? This is my job, (or want it to be), at least that’s how i like to spend my hours researching on OG and smoke-testing hundreds of strains over the years, for my future career of “cannabis medication maker”.
My goal is the eventually take the nerve pain-numbing effect of certain SSDD, BUBBASHINE and PRE ‘98 BUBBA pheno(s) and cross to many hi CBD strains, like ACDC, CANNATONIC, GOOD MEDICINE and BAREFOOT DR.
So nerve-pain relief and CBD together. Like a hi cbd version of Bubba Kush.
Barefoot Doctor by Bodhi, and Harlox (Harlequin x The Ox) by Rare Dankness Seeds is a good example.

I don’t think this is what he was asking; I think he’s asking if we, here, think that he would be able to sell those things on the market where he lives. Like, he wants to know if the commercial market would buy those clones and seeds, not us.
If I’m wrong, then I agree with your sentiments, but the above is what I took away from his post

@OkieWormFarmer its hard to say, I would hunt through them first before I even think about money, find some gems and then go from there, but overall its not a bad idea i wouldnt do it tbh buts thats cause I love popping seeds and clones only have given me problems.

I mean, he’s talking about selling clones and pollen on strainly and shit… Sounds like more than just a sorta “local operation” to me… I dunno. And does somebody really need to show up here and ask us if they can make money selling clones? If they’re asking, they already know they can. What are they really asking? Permission from us? Or are they trying to generate interest and see if they can get a few suckers to pay them? Fuck off.
Any time anybody comes around with that sorta “Hey, guys! I’m just trying to figure out how I can make the most money off of these seeds”-attitude, I get really irritated. This is not the place for that.
But that’s just me.
