Bodhi Soulmate f2 grow & f3 / S1 making

Looking forward to the show!

They’ve been chopped and I’ve been smoking some of the smaller buds. The taller one is definitely more lemony, the high is clear, better for daytime, and lasts a good bit with my high tolerance.

The shorter/medium one has a funk I can’t quite put my finger on. If I smoke a couple bowls of it, I almost green out and zone out for a few mins after smoking it. It’s stronger but not great for daytime, I had to take a nap a couple hours later.

Don’t know which one to keep around yet.

That’s awesome, thanks for the update and the info.
It sounds like we definitely had the same two phenos then.
The taller stretchy one is absolutely goji leaning.
It’s been a a while since I had any Soul Mate smoke, but from what I remember the shorter one was quite floral, hints of lavender perhaps, it was definitely a very unique but distinct funk.

Forgot to water these before work today, so they’re a bit droopy.
They’ve had a good soak now and have had their first dose of feed too, using some Westlands organic feed (not entirely sure how organic it actually is, but the stuff in the bottle is like syrup! Lol)
Hopefully after this grow, and when I move to a new home, I’ll be setting up a no till organics grow, something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now.

Something I noticed with one of them (no.7), has no branching at all at the nodes.

And no.8 for comparison

I’m definitely seeing some variations in the leaf type too, this one (no.9) looks to have very thin leaflets sprouting.

Everything getting set up in the tent today.
Unfortunately some of these have been slightly neglected over last few days, as I’ve been busy, such is life and growing lol.

Today I set up the 3x 10gal (39ltr) containers, all filled with roughly 30ltr of soil from indoor organics, Here’s the link to the soil with all the info I case anyone cares to see what’s in it.

Topped off with some crimson clover cover crop (thats a lot of C’s) and alfalfa mulch and watered in with some aloe extract.

Slight dilemma as to what to do with the soul mates now.
I don’t want them to get root bound, but ideally I’d like to see sex before transplanting them into the 10gals.
Alternatively I could pot x3 in each and then weed out the males as I go…
That could lead to problems where I might have x3 males in one container and x3 females in another…
So ideally I’d like to see sex before I move them up

Very happy plants.

@Hemp there were a couple that got overwarted, as I knew I’d be busy for a day or two and thought it best to over water than underwater…
So they’ve had a couple yellowing leaves on the lowers.

I’ve tried that Crimson and Clover, didn’t work for me. And I tried Crimson and Clover, over and over!

See what I did there?
Ok, I’ll shut up now!

@Limeflavouredheadbut it wasn’t cheap to be honest, but I did have to buy the pots, the cover crop, mulch & aloe powder. I’m splashing out and treating myself…with some soil :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Idea is to hopefully keep the soil going and just amend it as I go.l though. They included a free 250g ‘tester’ bag of their soil amendments mix too.

One 35ltr lot of soil is £35, think it gets cheaper if you order in larger quantities.

Well, I’m with you… I like sex before making any important decisions!

Do you see a ton of roots sticking out of the bottom of the veg containers? If not, they’re fine. And even if you do, I’d wait. You really don’t wanna have more than one plant in those ten gallon pots, especially because they look like there’s probably only like eight gallons of actual soil in them. I mean, you can do that, but ideally…

How long have they been vegging again?

@minitiger yeh those 10gal are 39ltr pots, but they’re only holding 30ltrs each at the moment.

They’ve been in the pots they’re in for 3-4 weeks now. Only been under the big lights in the tent for under a week.
There’s a few roots showing on some, but nothing crazy. Hopefully I’ll have a week or so and they’ll give a sign of sex, and then can move them up .

Oh, yeah, dude, you’ll be fine.

I kept mine in 1 quart pots until they showed which was maybe 6 weeks from seed. I’ve kept others longer. It doesn’t seem to bother, or slow them down.
I’m flowering in 2gal (7.5l) airpots.
One looks great:

The vegger is struggling. Both got the same treatment. She looked great when I upcanned her.

Probably ready to flip to flower.

I flip when the bush is about the same size as the pot. Gotta make sure she has enough soil left for the flowers too. Especially when you have a strain that stretches a lot.

As above, so below.

@HorseBadorites they’re looking great.
Love how you’ve got the support and trellises hanging on the top.

I learned a while back to never flip a plant that wasn’t happy. At least for me, that just meant constantly chasing my tail, and never catching it!

I think this one wasn’t happy with the pH of her grub.

She’s in coco, so I flushed her with 1/4 strength nutes, then added a bit of iron to her regular Megacrop feeds, bumped the pH to 6.0, and she’s looking much better. Gave her a pretty good plucking, too.

The other Soulmate had very little stretch, so I’m letting her go to about 2’ before she gets the flip.
