BOG & Bros Grimm Grow Journal

It connects to your phone easily by wifi using their app which I thought was pretty slick. And any other device by USB cable. I’m looking forward to playing with it some more.

Some shots of the three Black A5 Piff ladies in flower at day 25.

And the clones taken two weeks apart. The stretch even during veg is pretty comical

I had to open up everything to trim so I took a whole room shot

My Steve Sizelove bubble trap jammer & cap set for some dab breaks :sunglasses:

Incredible trichome shots, budding plants and a kick ass dab rig… very nice. Have a great Friday eve.

Here’s my BOG Sweet Cindy and one of the Sour Boggles in flower at day 43. They got trimmed up one last time tonight.

I took clones of all of my LSD, Rosetta Stone, and Bubblegum Breath plants in veg tonight. I also topped both Black A5 Piff clones I have that got too tall.

My makeshift clone station and gear. I haven’t used the Root Riot plugs before but I’ve had 100% success with 30 Q-plugs in this setup so I’m hoping for the same.

Everyone tucked away in my reorganized seedling/clone shelf.

Some funny shots from last night. I waited longer than planned to cut clones and the bottom branches got a lil beefy :flushed:

I was cutting tree trunks

Nice hollow stems

I got a redwood forest in my clone tray right now lol

A close up shot if one Cinderella XX. Should be getting cut within the next week

And a closeup on the frosty Sour Boggle

I transplanted my 3 Bros Grimm Rosetta Stone and the biggest Thug Pug Bubblegum Breath into 3 gal fabric pots today…they’ll go into flower in about 10 days.

The Bubblegum Breath I transplanted is purpling at the end of it’s leaves. The other two I have don’t seem to be showing that leaf trait. Looks pretty, but I’m thinking maybe stress?

Haha when I see colors on leaves like that, my first thought is, “wow! That’s cool” which is then immediately followed by, “shit! Which deficiency is causing this?!”

That actually looks pretty rather than worrying though.

Look up Phosphorus deficiency, looks similar but I don’t know your environment or pH. It does look beautiful though lol

@anon20530495 @Vagabond_Windy thanks for chiming in guys! It’s real easy to get mesmerized by these plants

I think your probably right Windy…I haven’t gotten them much p/k so far but hopefully switching them to ocean forest soil just now and starting flower nutes soon will address that :+1::+1:

I’ve been looking into why my Rosetta Stone leaves are lime green:

I’m hoping it’s just a phosphorus deficiency but after doing a bit of research Im noticing they look similar to the pH imbalance picture below. I know my pH has been in the 6.3-6.5 range, I’ve been giving them the basic fox farm veg nutrients schedule, and the soil is fairly neutral with happy frog. I’m hoping it turns around but I’m a bit stumped…any ideas?

The lime green leaves is pH problem causing nitrogen deficiency, the purple leaves tipping looks natural with no other phosphorus like problems showing… leaves are healthy. If you could please use the bad ass microscope on a purple and then a purple and green part, this could help determine if the leaf is deficient do to a pH problem or if the cells are functioning normally. The “hairs” on the leaf surface will be the most telling factor as to what happening with their growth or lack there of, top and bottom side. Colder air blowing on the top of the plant is a natural purple leaf maker.

Thanks for the info! I know my pH is at 6.3ish now, but it was off the first few weeks of veg. It seems contained to the Bros Grimm Rosetta Stone fems I’m running (the Cinderella XX im running had similar issues interestingly) The BOG LSD’s are still going strong tho.

Maybe I’ll try closer to 6.8 next feed (fox farm recommends 6.3-6.8 for their nutes). I’ll also take some pictures tomorrow and post them up. Thanks for your help as always!

The Cinderella XX branch I accidentally broke off at day 40 was dry and I trimmed the buds. 100% premature, but it’s officially my first buds in 16 years lol. I’ve def seen/smoked worse in my time 🤷 I’ll give it a two week burp & cure and see how it tastes. Decent finger hash for sure :+1:

If you can do a flush see what your run off comes out at also will tell a lot with what’s happening.
I’m guessing low ph and high nutrient levels is probably what you’ll find.

Congratulations on your first buds in 16 years! Looks good for early girl.

The two plants your having problems with have the same problem, looking at both, can see the pH change in both plants is at the same time. light green nitrogen def. and the other showing a phosphorus deficiency with the same amount of leaves on each being affected.

I agree with @ShiskaberrySavior about a flush and pH check, to much nitrogen can cause nitro def., add a low pH, gets worse. Same for phosphorus and almost all nutrients and water, to much is a bad thing.

Thanks for the info :+1: I’m going to look into it more this weekend
