BOG gear on seeds here now

I would say this is pretty big news for the community and those who loved Bog and his gear. Rumors and talk has been going around for a while about the bog gear being for sale on shn site. I had a nice little chat with James this morning and it seems that bog genetics are coming back and may be here to stay. Was also informed that Mrs. Bog is in a nursing home after having another stroke recently.

Great news on the seeds but horrible news on Mrs. BOG. Best wishes for a full recovery dear lady.

I’m not familiar with BOGs gear but from the following I see here he must’ve been a special person who produced some magic. Best wishes for Mrs BOG for sure and glad to here the magic may be kept alive.

Positive vibes and loving energy to Mrs. BOG. I know BOG is smiling down knowing that his seeds are still so well received within the community. I read that he wanted to leave something for his family, his work, and that he was always so very appreciative that he was able to provide for them and support them by working with the plants. He wrote that he used to drive trucks and that all he used to think about on the road was getting back to his wife and family. The forward in his book Bonanza of Green dedicated to her touches the heart. It’s so beautiful and it’s a reflection of BOGs beauty too. I never met him but I love BOG and through his words I’ve learned things about life that I feel have made me a better man. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. Much love

Maybe we can do an in house fundraiser & send her some OG support… seed auction or whatever. Should find out if there’s some favorite candy/etc….

say it with flowers

That would be cool.

I wish he would outsource the work to someone with a passion for it.

I don’t know Jim Jr but it would seem that if he had a burning desire to take over, he already would have and it would be raining BOG gear already. Successful multi-generational family businesses usually involve the whole family for the duration of the business, so the children build incentives to keep it going.

I just haven’t seen any evidence of that happening here, unfortunately. I can be hopeful though.

I think you have to take into account that his dad just recently died and his mom isn’t doing too well either. Feel he may be more worried about his personal life instead of pleasing a community. But I agree, he should put the genetics into hands that are trusted and will carry on the work his dad created if he doesn’t have the time right now to do that.
