Awesome, I got some friends that donāt think the sift from a seed plant is good they just schuck and pitch the material.

Yeah I never understood it, if they didnāt live so far away I would volunteer to keep it lol! But they think it taste different and is harsh. Each their own, but the sift is the best part of schucking or trimming.

Mine as well. Iāve still got stuff sitting in the freezer from almost two years ago 
. I plan on doing an rso run here with all my trim and lowers. Iām needing to take too much coco oil for sleep

I see you and I are like minded, I donāt do small. As such I just harvested 9800 beans(approx) with a kitchen sifter and old school carding. Got a better method? I tried the whole cool blow dryer, and it got rid of a lot, but Iām pretty sure I lost some good seeds too. (Weāll see what sprouts around my back door this spring!)

I sort the old school way. Iām planning on getting a trim bin to collect sift. But Iāll put all the beans on a plate and hand sort through them and just blow gently to get all the bad seeds out

The old school way is awesome! Finger hash galore and a nice practice of patience and enjoyment. A meditation of sorts. This is part of the energy within the seed too. They are still living and receiving energy in my opinion. Itās beautiful feelings they feel. Your gentle breath, seeking them out for saving and storage. A symbiotic relationship. Itās so rad. I didnāt even bother with the trim bin. Just crushed the buds through the sifter and toss what was left on a tray for carding. To me everything that went through the sifter is smokeable. Kinda has that old school over ripe funk.
