Bubba Kush cuts …

I’ve always heard that about the illudium. I reversed it and didn’t get any pollen, either

Guess that answers my question then. Bummer guess the clone is the only way to go then.

That could have been me. I am a dedicated, hardcore, Bubbanista and, I felt that the Cali Connection Bubba was the least representative of all the Bubba’s I have grown… their variance is off the hook. The ones I grew were HUGE, I am talking 2-liter coke bottle nuggs – with hefty buds and yields and, were the least Bubba looking plants I have grown, despite many having the Kushy Bubba smell I love so much

It probably was. Mine had lots of nice strawberry sized nugs. Thinner blade leaves than typical Bubba. Was yours on the fuel-y side for smell and flavor?

No, I got no fuel from any of them, lots of sweet kushy scents and, some flowery-smelling others. They were mostly light green and, grew quite quickly… they didnt “seem” like Bubba, until they started to smell like her. I, personally, definitely preferred the results I got from Katsu and CSI seeds.

Interesting. I was hoping that was common with their other phenos. As usual I should’ve taken cuttings, but it’ll fun to see what the other phenos are like.

I should’ve specified too, I grew the S1. Thanks for the info

Oh yeah, me too! I pass on any of his regs, his males are quite questionable.

Im going to put a couple different plants in there so it wont be a total waste of effort and if she dont take pollen i guess ill still have some good smoke to puff on.Just have to keep a cut of her going on the backburner and make some bonsai mums.

Top pic with darker leaves is the Ludy.Shorter greener plant is the Bubba

That’s interesting because the bubba s1s I grew from them all looked the part but lacked any terps.
Katsu was always said to have the best bubba kush type in seed form but I never grew any of his and have the actual clone again now so no need

Interesting! I have grown a few packs of the Cali S1’s before I hopped over to CSI. I wouldn’t call them terpy at all, no grease and very low odor, but the scent on many was definitely deliciously kushy

When I had Katsu’s cut, he shared it a really long time ago, it was definitely my favorite of the Berger, original and Katsu cuts… IMO, Katsu’s was terpier and had a stronger stone. I got rid of the Katsu, because I felt it hermed too easily and dumbly dismissed it after it seeded a couple crops but, when I found some leftover buds a few years later, I was bummed I had not kept it! Even seeded, its killer

Having a bubba contest run
Katsu just came in and placed in water.
I’ll make a thread eventually with all the fun details ~ =)

Another update on the Twenty20 bubba… Just slow steady progression not much changing. Def a small harvest but quality looks decent

Not sure where TwentY20 got their bubba from, but every plant I have seen others grow really looks good

Trust me they won’t tell me either haha I actually sent an email a while back asking out of curiosity and no response. Very simple description on the website too just basic kush.

IDK about that, those twenty20 autos they gave out in 2021 or whatever, for ‘The great american auto race’ were fckn garbage. Some of the worst plants I’ve ever seen. Hay and no potency.

On the flip side, the ogkb I just got to sample, was from them and its actually decent.

Yeah, I hate autos… One of my trizzlers was pretty tasty, but they had some underlying generic ruderalis terps I absolutely abhor

I dont grow autos so cant comment on that. There so inconsistent anyway, try a photo from them next time try “the spice”. Off topic but i gotta defend twenty20 mendocino heres there photo strains🔥. All are top 10 for me
