how big of plants are you growing? The bigger the plant the bigger the buds, but no matter what you run the chance of rot

Yea i let them get relatively big. I’m going smaller next run, brand new tent, new tower oscillating fan, new hepa filter.
The younger version of me would have thrown all my grow equipment in a bonfire 30mins ago

@chronix is correct. Like I said before, if you see mold growing. The spores are already on everything and so it’s all trash. You can’t extract it, you can’t smoke it, can’t press it. Toss it. I’ll give you something to smoke if you don’t have anything saved up. Just let me know

Yea its all in the trash. I did vape a tiny sample yesterday before i noticed off a lower bud, everything I saw was in the bigger buds though. Fingers crossed my immune system shakes it off.

I ripped my first 3 grows. Paranoia will destroy ya. 20 years ago. Then didn’t grow for 2 more years and did this.

Guess I need to sanitize my grinder since I ground up & “test vaped” a bud-rot nugget. Any tips there?

Alright ill chuck the tent, alcohol wipe the light… maybe replace the 6" hurricane fans, they’re a year old anyway. What a painful lesson. Lets hope my lungs are cool lol

No, just wipe the tent down and clean the fans best you can. Just wipe them down with ISO. Just clean all equipment and start with new medium. We’ve all had to do it. Do it after every harvest. Get the tainted old soil out of the house. You can reuse soil if it’s clean after harvest. Get new pots if they are fabric pots. Plastic you can sanitize.

Well the good news is the tent zippers screwed, so the whole tent shell was going in the trash anyway. I will ISO the tent poles though. Clean the fans etc. How about the Carbon filter & inlines?
Also I’m not starting back up till May 25th, how long do these spores survive? Wondering if i need to shampoo the carpet etc.
