So in 4 days time my flowering Shaman will have completed 8 weeks of flower…

Im already noticing 1 or 2 leaves fading yellow and other leaves slowly but surely following…

Ive been checking under the microscope at trichomes and most of them are cloudy milky about 90% appx then maybe 5-9% are half milky still with 1-2% probably amber as noticed 1-2 ambering trichomes but not many at all… I really have to search hard…

Based on all of your guys knowledge what do you all think… give her until 9 weeks flower then chop?

Also… i grew this girl in coco coir and Perlite only no soil mix… what is your opinion on the flushing process is there science to flushing or is it a kind of XBOX v PS5 kinda debate / my dads better than your dad debate!!! aha…

Thanks BM

I don’t flush coco at the end because I do micro flushes throughout the grow with molasses brews like sledgehammer and bembe,I just add it with my nute feed. I like to keep my microbe build-up stable. You can start adding 1TBS of unsulfured molasses per gallon I just add it to my nute mixture. It does the same thing really as sledgehammer and bembe as a sweetener and micro flush. Works for me :peace_symbol:

Its been a while growmies!!

The 4 Clones are doing very well they are over 2 feet tall and 1 week since flip to 12/12… I just defoliated her tonight and got ride of any branches that were just in the way or won’t make decent bud… will include pics below of todays hair cuts…

My first ever plant is coming to the end of her days and i’m pleased with her. The buds look dense and solid, very resinous! about 4-5 days left and she will get the chop!!

Other than that I have learned so much this past 6 months since i started!

Onwards and up!! Peace!

That trim up should keep the air moving freely through them for a little while, until they start stretching and bushing up again :+1:

Its been a while and I thought I would give you all an update of my second ever grow!!

The first is nearly dry ( although it wasn’t the best results it taught me a lot going into the second grow )

Here are some snaps of my 4 clones I took a while back!!

Day 20 since flip of 12/12 light cycle!! I’m hoping for bigger better results with my knowledge from the first grow and new equipment.

Thanks BM

just a quick update the girls on my 2nd grow of all time are thriving!! looking pretty & healthy, pleased so far!! ( 4 weeks old from flip )

Anyone think I should get the trellis out or let them ride all the way? Also PK time yet or leave it til a bit later…?

These plants look robust… I see no need to trellis them. As one opinion, I’d personally let them ride. At week 4, yes: start th PK boost.

Really pleased with my first plants little nugs!! really really zesty ( the miss described it as fresh green Thai mangos…

super nice!!

I will be keeping this little jar of maybe 1-2 oz of curing bud as a good reminder of what all my efforts and continuous learning will bring… heres a few pics of the trim process… ( I was disappointed when i saw harvest but when i peeled all those flaky dark curly leaves off WOW! I was shocked…

Thanks for all the help on my first run BM.

Thanks as i was trimming one bud then i found a very healthy big looking seed… just looks a bit pale… I tried sooo hard to keep this lights off dark I cant remember disturbing it much at all literally would have been for a split second at times… is this quite common?

Some strains have a tendency to herm, especially if stressed or if there are any continual light leaks. A “herm” is a hermaphrodite…a plant that changes its sexual expression. It is when, for example, a female plant puts out male flowers, or – conversely-- when a male plant puts out female pistils. From your finding an immature seed, it sounds like your plant may have expressed an hermaphroditic outgrowth late in flower. If the herm had occurred early on flower, the seed would be dark and hard but seeds take about 4-6 weeks to get hard so the plant most likely hermed later into flowering. It is all good, I am sure you will experience more herms in your grow journey, I am glad it is immature and only one! If you don’t watch for them and remove them, a hermaphrodite plant can ruin your crop by causing the whole crop to be seeded if you don’t catch it in time. :v:
