Budmeisters Hobby Hotel

Its flip time tonight!!

looking forward to doing a little pinching, twisting, pruning, defoliation in a couple weeks time to get a nice canopy hopefully!!

Im unsure if they would need a bit of extra feed now too tend to go up 0.1 EC now with every few feeds until i get to 1.8 where they will stay until a PK boost later into flower…?

Quick update at the Hotel of hobbies…

I ran into a minor issue with my seedlings entering early veg, They were root bound and they stayed limp for a good 24 hours… after twiddling my thumbs scratching my head - and pretty much questioning everything ( like I would have when i started ) Ph…? over watered?? not not enough different products??
well it wasn’t

I took some great advise from someone on here going back last week, they said : ‘‘transplant your plants a couple times on purpose to see what is really going on when you get issues’’

Well… i did this because they were in pots about half the size of a solo cup and became root bound…
This led me to believe a possible beginning of nutrient lockout over saturation and not much room to breathe / grow at all… I pulled them out and although root bound and a little tired i can safely say it should be just a minor issue that is now being fixed…

Here they are tonight in their new 1.5 gallon pots already looking 50% better in just 2 hours… as compared to when they were wilted and sad for 24 hours.

Its the mistakes we learn from that give us knowledge! I’d rather fail in order to learn and understand the why’s than just follow something that 100% works and not really understand whats going on.

As for the others in flower mode a little pinching and twisting and yep they are looking cool!

Peace! BM

That is a pretty awesome idea. It’s encouraging to see other people’s ingenuity and ideas come to life. Keep up the hard work.

Morning, afternoon & Evening all!! hope all is well.

Here is one of my Fan leaves…

Question / Debate time… as I have had lots of conflicting answers…

Is this considered Healthy or is it considered too much nitrogen in the feed?

thanks BM

These are exploding over night, certainly in stretch mode all the way!!

I am going to install a trellis net tomorrow as tight as possible to slightly bring down a few inches of main colas and promote an even canopy.

24 hours ago Increased the light from 40% to 50-60% ( LITFA Budmeister LITFA!!! ) probably the reason for slightly canoed curling fan leaves the next day can anyone help confirm this? Should i Lower back down to 40% until im at least a bit further into flower? After all they are stretching there was no need to increase the light during a stretch!! as the stretch is probably achieving this…

Anyway it was 6 Days ago I flipped to flower…

heres a before and after :-

Might be borderline too much…but by the looks of your updated pics, they’re burning through lots of juice anyway…let it ride…push them as hard as they can take!!!
:triumph:…lol
Plants look solid! They’re loving the new room!

Thanks man! appreciate the comments, yeah they sure are burning through the nutes! 1 week into flower tomorrow how long do stretch phases last ( generally ) I imagine it varies from strain to strain?

You got it. But your room looks ready to accommodate any stretching. Beautiful setup! Does it hold a steady temp? How often does your ac/heat kick in?

2-3 weeks, 4 max. Varies per strain.

Caveat I have zero experience with either strain.

temp slowly decreases from 26c to 23c over a period of 45 minutes then the heater kicks in and we go from 23 up to 26 during the space of about 15 minutes. Yes I’d imagine there is enough head room  especially with the trellis I will install tomorrow.
