C99 & GDP ( Blimburn ) Seeds soaked 5/12/22

Day 42 Flipped

First grow in awhile. Soil mix is just a mix of leftovers from previous grows, so some FFOF, FFHF, Coco bricks, some coco from a bag, EWC, Dolomite Lime and some other stuffs. Next run I plan to just use FFOF and FF Cultivation Nation 2-part with couple add-ins.

These 2 plants have been doing pretty good. My first time topping plants, lolipopping and using a scrog net. Ive had problems in the past with nutrient lockouts/deficiencies etc. This go around I decided to check the pH of my tap and it’s close to 8 sometimes alittle over 8. So I’ve been using distilled white vinegar as a pH down from early veg up to now.

The GDP has grown quite large even though started off smaller of the 2, plus the roots tore a bit going from solo to 1 gallon pot. But exploded ever since. Showing signs of issues in the leaves now. I started using FF Cultivation Nation 2-part maybe 40-50days into veg and have just been top dressing every so often. Using the Flower for passed 3 weeks.

Thanks for the welcomes! I remember OG from back in 2000s. Still have a physical printout of the Bio-Buckets tutorial.

Anywho just got done creating a collage of pic from this grow starting from June 3rd up until now.
I only started writing notes about pH and nutes runoff ec etc starting July 28th.

Thanks! What breeder(s)? I’ve always wanted to grow C99 since early 2000s, someone was having a give away and i was selected but something happened and never received them. But always wanted to try the Holy Grail that short flowers and is tropical. GDP just sounded fun haha

Thats unfortunate about not being able to get C99. I somewhat recently lost my C99 keeper, (my own fault). Brother Grimm has its own website you can order from now. (They have a different site for CC fyi)
They had a July sale going and I picked up their limited C99 × Purple Urkel. They still have more packs if you wanted the genetics.

The “female seeds” c99 version is excellent. I’ve grown c99 out a few times from different breeders but the female seeds one I’ve found is the best but I do admit I’ve not grown the Brothers Grimm version YET!!!

Plants are hanging in there. GDP definitely has some sort of issue with the purpling, but i’ve had it cold at night times here and there. Just gonna keep top dressing every few waters. Next run I’m gonna use the dilution method for the FF Cultivation Nation 2-Part vs top dress only.
C99 buds look ok, nothing special. the GDP buds are looking sick. the c99 atleast has some rotten fruity funk to the flower and when rubbed smells sweet like candy. The GDP is weird, not sure what i smell yet

The GDP is purpling up very nicely. The C99 has been starting to purple too. I usually have night time temps around 72-75f. Thinking all the fans i have are making it colder to the leaves bringing out the purples.
Found some nanners on the C99. Just gonna roll with it and probably give them 2-3 more weeks. Want them to fatten up now. Think i’m more excited for the GDP visually, but the C99 smells of rotting funk and candy.

Gotta start planning next run. I ordered a bunch of cheese and blueberry strains couple months back. One for sure I wanna try is the 710 Genetics Stilton.
Other strain is gonna be a toss up between

  • Barneys Farms - Blueberry Cheese | Blueberry OG | Cheese
  • Dutch Passion - Blueberry
  • Female Seeds - Blueberry Cheesecake
if anyone has any experience with these other strains and liked the phenos let me know.
