Nice work! I don’t eat bananas but my mom saves em for me if I ask her to.
Thanks you gave me the idea
I can confirm ALL the seeds have at least cracked open and some have small tails.
BOGs Sour Strawberry also cracked shells open, Just barely… It’s coming…
Also - ALL my new soil is growing crazy looking stuff.
I can only assume its good bacteria growing since it’s only been together a few days.
If you spray bottle it with water does it disappear?
curious as to its growth pattern being strand like in image
@CADMAN - have you sprayed it with water yet, hurry man.
I know it’s good most likely but the sprayer is my best friend here.
Looking good! Teaming with fungi. I def wanna run dosi I haven’t had a chance yet, keep it up!
Thanks @OGSince03
Tomorrow night afterwork I’ll get all the seeds
(which should have nice tails) into the peat pucks that are waiting for them inside the “take our container humidity dome” …
I’m on pins and needles! Looking forward to it for sure!
Simple but effective test: spray your mold with water,
if it seems to disappear or fall into soil - mycelium - good
If it stays together like stretched cotton ball - sclerotinia - bad
Reason I asked I noticed the look of strands, building on pieces of decaying matter in the mix,
As marked, just paying attention.
White mold sucks. (sclerotinia)
Good ole farmers almanac.
Most likely mycelium or bacteria. I wouldn’t put seedlings directly in it for fear of damping off.
I agree with ReikoX.
Balance is everything. Not too much of anything.
Hey friend! As usual, you’re down to it!! I won’t miss a beat!! Congrats! Full throttle!!
@Astrodude the pieces you circled are Coconut Chips that are in the soil mixture.
Thank you for the almanac on mold I’ll read that tonight.
@ReikoX I’ve got peat pucks to put the seeds into ready to go for a week or so before they go into the party cups.
Thanks much appreciated
@Astrodude just to be 100% sure, I sprayed the soil surface with Hydrogen proxcide & turned up the light intensity & have the box fan on for more air flow…
I hear mold hates Vitamin D, I know Led it not sunlight, but it should help.
The growth on the soil had disappeared a little so I’m thinking it’s just harmless Fungi doing its job on the Organic materials in the soil.
I also watered the soil as your suggested, checked back 10 mins later, it looks disappeared.
Looks like it wing time. HP work very well.
Outta likes, but YES!
