You ARNT JOKING… About the Pineapple
FUKKKKKKK DUDE. The plant smells like you took a sniff of a Can of Pineapples, Sweet and Pineapple goodness… 100% growing it again.
Ps. Wonder how these will turn out.?
This is what litterly fell off the plant while doing maintenance…
Cat definitely wants to eat them.
He was a good boy, sat and watched the whole time. No attempt of attacking. So I have him a small leaf… 30seconds later it’s gone.
This guy lives in the basement with my plants tho and doesn’t have a care in the world for them. He’s a barn kitten we brought in while the weather was in the negatives. Now he’s ours I guess. He refuses to go back outside. Hahah
No idea what is going on cuz. There’s so many variables involved, to even try giving you any educated thoughts. How long have they been like that without any growth? If a week or more, I’d suggest trying to re-pot them, using as little of that soil as possible without going ‘bare root’…
I still have no idea, like I said cuz. Re-pot is my only suggestion, for the one that isn’t doing anything. If it’s not gonna grow, then it’s not gonna hurt to try, imho
In my experience, I’ve had plants not want to grow like that due to too much soil and it being too wet.
I’d agree with @JohnnyPotseed that a repot would be the move!
I’d reckon those roots are probably itty bitty. My move when I’m worried about a runt like that is to repot them into a smaller container that’s just a bit bigger than how big the root ball is, so it can really build up before a larger repot. I’d put that plant in a seedling tray sized container for a week or so and let it get established, and lightly water it. The problem with saturating the soil is if the plant is still young, it may be picky since it’s still stretching its legs.
