Sorry to hear your Romulan Luck pal! I was looking forward to a pollen swap ill be starting my Romulan on April 20! Fitting I’d say! I’ll save a bit of my pollen and ship it to ya!
BAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! @CADMAN my Black Snow is doing the same runty shit show
I accidentally soaked the solo cup and of course it won’t dry out because it’s not like there’s a lot of roots sucking up the water. I’m gonna up pot it today and something changes. lol.
I hope they gave you a “heck?!” look as you gave them the plant versus shooing them away!
Yeah man. It’s too bad. But I do appreciate the pollen. I’ll try again soon enough with the rest of them seeds.
I’ll be watching
Stop feeding them tomato sauce. Haha.
That is weird tho. I would probably start with a repot into new virgin soil to see if they pick up.
I’m obviously not suggesting you do this but
“In Central America, farmers come across Mango trees that won’t produce. Before they cut them down, they’ll beat the hell out of the trunk with a baseball bat while yelling at it, warning the tree what’s coming if it doesn’t shape up. They’ll keep this up for years before cutting the tree down, no shit, pretty funny to watch.”
If you can’t get a good harvest out of it, might as well get a punching bag?
it’s like the ike and tina turner way of making magic. what’s love got to do with it?
actually, one day when i am able to get outdoor plants going, i totally plan to set some aside for bizarre abuse to see how they handle things. after watching videos of the strain hunters on yt and seeing stories of the abuse some of the plants around the world go through, it was eye-opening and makes for some interesting thinking about what these plants (and probably us as human beings) are more capable of in dire situations.
Oh, they are tough! A few years ago I had ran out of quality space in my outdoor patches and threw a dozen cuts in a pile of big rocks, they all made it to harvest lmao
Another time I was testing a cross outdoors and they all grew super lanky like whips so I buried the whole trunk sideways with branches sticking out of the ground. The bastards thrived. Later that year I talked with my aunt about this and she showed me an old farmers almanac, turns out this is a real technique used on tomatoes hahaha
Be bold, have fun
FINALLY, WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!
( Just a few branches so far ) still gotta go through both plants & collect all the seeds…
