I used to āaggressive inline skateā back in the day, and I miss it so, so much. I actually bought rollerblades later in life, decades later, to see if I still had it. Sorta. I learned I can still rollerblade and ice skate really well, but I canāt grind and I am too scared of knee injuries to do elaborate tricks and jumps. I still toy around with the idea of buying another pair. There is just no reason they ever should have gone out of style. Wasnāt it just rampant homophobia that signaled their end? What a tragedy.

This part has so much to it that itās like watching a mini-history of skateboarding. The Natas spins, street plants with finger flips and even some freestyle. Then he Smith grinds 20 stairs plus, flips in and out of manuals and gets a Chris Haslam guest trick in there too?!? The 50-50 grind to front foot impossible was just beautiful.

In my own stoned opinion, the best video of 2020 just came out last week. I think itās the video a lot of younger kids will remember in the way some of us remember Welcome to Hell, Dying to Live or Baker2G. All due respect to Jeremy Wray, Jaws and Clive Dixon, but Alex Midlerās last trick is honestly the greatest thing Iāve ever seen done by a street skater.

My fat ass broke so many boards i had to switch to slicks i was never any good lol had some friends that were pretty sick at it though i used to skate world industryās or girl boards with venture trucks and tiny wheels like 48 or 50 or some shit ā¦ The thought of getting on one now scares my old ass i do not miss falling on concrete 20 times in a night or getting chased away by cops ā¦i think the cops are cool with it now theres atleast 3 skate parks i know of now we had this strip mall of kmart and pizza hut with a 4 set and nice ledges and then another spot at a handicap school that was like pure poured concrete dream with lots of low rails but both places were 45 minutes to an hour max and cops are there

Iāve been dying to get out and ride. Snows gone and the park is literally 100 ft from my house but fucked up my hand/arm at work a few weeks ago. Rode the longboard the other night to my brotherās house and back. Ate shit when a ripped part of my pants caught under a wheelā¦ended up fun ride quick, thankfully was almost home already.
