It may be legal, but high prices and inconvenience may drive black-market marijuana for years

John Lorenz, owner of Sweet Relief in Northport, pointed out much of the cannabis being sold on the streets is untested and likely not up to the adult-use industry’s quality standards.

“They are going to find recreational pot expensive right now if that is their only concern,” Lorenz said. “Even if it is 10 times better [than black-market marijuana.]”

Love how he states that it’s 10 times better than black market!! Lol

Government regulation of cannabis has created a windfall of abusive, corrupt dollars which will never end.
Getting rid of government regulations is the only way to fix this.

This is a development that I have been waiting for… if it’s true.

from piece:

The news means that cannabis can join other members of the agricultural industry, such as tomatoes, corn, or watermelon, which are also grown from seeds that are considered genetically stable.

And once again proves why noone should be for legalization. Decriminalize and be done with it.

@MysteryMoog Onerous regulations are the real problem, decrim with layer upon layer of
government regulations would be the very same mess we find ourselves in now.

State and local regulations spawn corruption and perverse markets.
