Yep that was me. lol.

It works and it’s what the tobacco industry has been doing forever.

This is where a before and after test would be most rad.

Have harsh bud? COBB THAT SHIT INTO A TURD and :boom: , you got smoothness with boosted terps.

If it works I want the above as a t-shirt.

Cool, and thanks again. Yeah, hell, tobacco, sure. My ol’ man would put apple peels in his cans of prince albert that he smoked in his pipe. I’ve done it too in my dried ol’ weed i had, back in the day.

Several of the fellows I have spoken to that cob a lot, tend to eat or chew their cob and it seems to be a VERY intense experience when used that way.

could we call it “entourage effect” w/o it being misnomered?

that, along with a good euphoria is what seek. So you say cobbing reduces harshness? i’m pretty sure that’s part of what MoBilly’s asking.

I read probly in another OG cobbing thread about how in africa they wrap the nugs, then throw them under a goat pen for a few months. i did not read about the carcasses, however. :frowning:

I dunno if this was posted here. I saw it a while ago, so missin’bissin’ can probably add comments to it. Fighting Buddha gets Cobb’d & 2023 deBauchery - #2 by Mr.Christmas

One of the accounts of the Perique fermentation process (tobacco)
I’ve read, talked about applying a sugar/yeast solution to initiate the fermentation.
I was thinking EC1118 might be a good choice to try for that roll (initially) as it is a champagne yeast.
If this process proves beneficial, there are a number of other specialized yeasts that could be explored.

Cheers

Thanks for that reminder @3bombedmice
I did copy and paste some of this new dialogue onto the Fighting Bilbo thread.

Much appreciated ~ mb

so - sounds like cobbing might be the best way to cure? have a jar that is one month (old) going to cob 1/2 the jar. now I have to learn how to vacum seal

I used a dehydrator for the gentle heat on the vacuum sealed cobbs.

Curious what temp?

I did 140f overnight and then 120f for another 36 hrs. I then placed them on a heat mat 80f.for a week. I have extra trays on my dehydrator so im sure it was less than setting. They did sweat through the parchment paper and needed repacking .

likes won’t work, but if they did:

Before the rain hit i pulled all the remaining flower off the Limed-Orange, just finished trim jail watching “Death Becomes Her” and then washed it all.

Tomorrow it starts to dry then around 65% it’s cobbin time!

Curious how do you determine RH% of flowers?

@Hashpants thx for the feedback - I’ve been thinking about getting a food dehydrator

I take readings off a hygrometer in the growing area and when close to the RH% i’m aiming for I then take the flower out and put into grove bags with a small hygrometer in there so I can monitor directly.

Rgr that, thanks for sharing.

What happens if the ambient RH% is below your intended mark? Do you have a humidifier to keep things within your preferred range?
