CaptainRon's Imaginarium: Off-grid, indoor growing, geothermal greenhouse build, a place to store my thoughts

Definitely more of a yogurt texture. Good experiment I guess, but next time I’m just gonna do the standard method.

Only use things off of trees. The bacteria we are looking for are air-borne. Things off the ground may have other types of bacteria. Would it kill you ? Probably not. Remember how kids used to eat mud pies? Now we know that helps to inoculate their immune systems. You are correct that only the lactic bacteria will multiply in the milk. Those are what you want.

In India curd is made by adding a bit of curd culture into pre warmed milk …after the curd forms there is a liquid which seperates and is called whey which is LAB.
We also make a cottage cheese like ricotta by splitting the milk with lemon, citric acid ect…then again the leftover liquid is LAB both of these can be used directly for humans plants and animals :slightly_smiling_face:

Curious what you think after reading. I enjoyed it. I think it’s a nice alternate perspective for anyone that’s been down the Terence rabbit hole.

Good morning folks,

Hope everyone had and has a great week

Getting cold up here, 35*f this morning

Today is day 36 for the girls and the haze is the real star in my eyes. She has a sweet licorice smell that’s consuming the whole tent.
None of the DLAs are putting off much nose unless you’re really sniffing them; warm, roasted tone when smelling just the buds, but when rubbed they all smell like sweet lemons. From what I understand that’s the G13 coming through. Seems to be the dominate terpene in this cross.

I will also say that only 1 really looks like a plant that could be used for hash production. The other 3 just have dense, golf ball nugs. I’m cool with this as I’m not making hash but was expecting a bit more sugar. I’m wondering if grown outdoors that would be a different story… :person_shrugging:

DLA 1

This one looks to be the one that would be best of my 4 for hash…

Amnesia Haze

I dropped the ball on my outdoor plants with giving too much N late in bloom causing leaf production. They look to be about 1.5-2 weeks from chop so thankfully it’s happening late. Lesson learned! I didn’t realize the amino acids I was supplementing in was 7-0-0 as they made that shit almost impossible to see on the package.

End of season photos of where the green house progress is. Not bad for an amateur and a month of labor!

Hope the sun is shining on you all today,
:v:&:purple_heart:

Cheers :potted_plant:

I can see the greenhouse already — filled with sugary hashplants or whatever else suits your fancy!! It’s coming and you’re putting in the hard work. Very impressive!!

Plants are looking great to my untrained eye and who wouldn’t want a tent full of haze with an air of licorice.

Rock on.

Everythings looking good my friend, love the outdoor shots. Yall are famous for the fall colors up there, must be nice to look at i bet. Sounds about right for amnesia and alot of hazes in general. They have a distinct " sweetness", but not candy or sugar sweetness, hard to describe. But i love it too man, myy ssh has that same profile.

Birds look like there having a nice time, that black one has pretty feathers. Got any other creatures around the property like deer or wolves?:v:

@Coffweed thank you, brother! Means a lot :purple_heart:

@nick131740 yeah brother, the foliage is pretty surreal up here. It’s the maples that really put on the show, as they fade with the most color. At peak they are shades of deep red to mango. This year has been a bit lack luster as it’s been warmer and drier than usual.
I have 4 jet black girls that are iridescent in the sun. Shades of blue, purple, and green. Gorgeous birds.
Thankfully no wolves but there are coyotes, a mama black bear and cub, moose, deer, minks, fisher cats, and a possible mountain lion/catamount. Also had a broad winged hawk nesting just a few feet off my property this year. 2 of them did kill 2 of my girls, but that’s the price for free ranging them.
I haven’t seen this on my property but there is a bald eagle a couple miles away that I have seen in action over the river. I love birds of prey!
The owls have been real chatty recently too.

Good morning folks,

I’m a little late this week with my update but the weather has been gloomy and wet the last few days. Decided not to turn my internet on to minimize the need for my generator to kick on.

Today is day 45 for the girls. Some were showing a calcium deficiency but that was an easy enough fix :+1:.

I ran out of bud a few weeks back and I have no interest in giving the dispensaries and local government any money. Fuck those clowns.
So I decided it was a good idea to do a reset as I haven’t in a few years.
Because I don’t use artificial light, my computer, or phone after sundown I have been able to reset my circadian rhythm this past spring. This has allowed for proper melatonin production as ANY light source immediately stops said production.
I have always been blessed with vivid dreams on a nightly basis but since I have not been smoking my dreams have been turned up to 20. I’ll wake up to go take a leak in a complete daze, go back to sleep and pick up where the dream left off…

I wonder if when we wake, we wake in alternate realities…
Do we ‘die’ every night and wake in a different reality?
Perhaps today’s reality I chose to wear ankle socks instead of calf high. Maybe I drink black tea instead of green… From the moment we wake we are distracted with thought and are perhaps blind to this new universe…
are any of you real? Am I just interacting with artificial intelligence to pass time?
Is this experience my prison.
Am I going crazy? - yes

Peace and love my friends :purple_heart:

Plants look great Ron!

That’s deep, you’ll never know for sure will you lol?
Take it a step further… are “you” even interacting, or is it a mistake to identify with the body and thoughts all together? Do we truly even create thought? Perhaps it’s all a big show, like a movie but with emotions, thoughts and feelings as part of the show. Are you even the body that appears when you wake up? You also identify with your dream body while in a dream, and that’s not real…

Anyways don’t get me started lol, have a good one bro.

@CaptainRon .Very nice plants.:grin::+1:
The famed psychic Edgar Cayce said that sleep and death are the same thing. Both are a setting aside of our ego. The ego is a lie. When we die or fall asleep our consciousness merges with the Universal consciousness. That is the true reality. Then we “wake up” in this holographic life story.
I do not fear death because I do it every night.

Have you @Magu or @methodanon, or any one else watched Waking Life?

It’s been proven that the human brain is active for 6-12 seconds upon dying… we all know that that equates to an infinite amount of ‘time’ in the dream world.

Back in 2016 I had a very profound dream that I actually don’t think was a dream…
Anyway at the very end before waking I had a conscious moment to ask a ‘dream’ character a question…

Me:‘Am I dead?’
Them: smiling, ‘No, but you’re definitely somewhere else.’
Then I woke.

I remember telling my mom about the dream in full detail and about half way through she started crying and said, ‘Ron, I think you died.’
The first part of the dream did incorporate bright, beautiful light that guided me to what I believe is the waiting room for souls to be reborn…

@CaptainRon . I have not seen that but I will soon. You have been given a rare gift. Make the most of it that you can.
I dont know much but I am sure this life is the result of thousands of lifetimes from my past and the beginning of thousands more yet to come. As they say, “ Life is a trip”.

That DLA in the bottom left of the first pic has massive buds. You are looking set up for a nice fall/winter, especially after a nice t-break.

I’ve been thinking about dreams/sleep lately too. About how most people avoid or are scared by the thought of death, but we have no problem going to sleep every night.

I started reading, Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep by Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche who is a Bön Tibetan monk/teacher. It was recommended to me recently. Can’t recommend it because I haven’t read it yet, but it goes into how they use dreams as a tool just like meditation or yoga. Here’s a quote:“If we lose ourselves every night, what chance do we have to be aware when death comes? Look to your experience in dreams to know how you will fare in death. Look to your experience of sleep to discover whether or not you are truly awake”. Interesting stuff…

This might be difficult for westerners to understand …
Beyond the the three stages of consciousness (waking, dream & deep sleep) is a fourth stage called Turiya or Turiyatita where duality ceases and is a transcendental stage of communion with the infinite undifferentiated reality
