Mornin bro. I do that pot thing when there isn’t a rootball holding the soil together, basically too early uppot. But they were autos, so I am experimenting.
I say ‘were’ autos. 5 minutes after that photo, I accidentally shot them across the yard, I just laughed🤣
I use the promix coco/myco mix. Does the job without adding an extra step. Have a great day

I’m about to pop a bunch of autos and experiment with different pottings myself. Gonna try a couple in my starter bags than a mix of different gallons normal and tall up to 7 gallon to see how it affects the yield and finish times. I wasn’t gonna try the starter pots but than I seen someone with a super impressive solo cup grow that looked like it had to of yielded almost 3-4 ounces

I feel like those little cloth starter bags might be the way to go. No transplant, just pop the baggie in the pot of choice. Gonna buy a few and try it
