Wow, dude, that turned out sweet!

I’ve decided to go rogue on this one, let’s see what happens now… lol
Elephant reflections

I think I need to sink his feet down into the mud a bit to finish the affect of him walking in a shallow muddy river… have it flowing around his feet a bit… always learning about little details… the positive feedback drives me forward… thank you all.

I agree dude,. if you’re trying to save on the light bill, going 12/12 from the start isn’t bad. sure the yield will be lower and the plants might stretch a bit more as it grows, but it still can be quite manageable, especially with a sativa /sativa dominant strain. We’ve never tried with an auto but I assume by the picture you have on the at least another month to put on some weight.

They all look great brother!

Autos are a weird beast… massive veg growth the first 30 days, then some sexing and cotton tops form… and then it’s like, come on man, grow buds… and you almost wanna give up on em… what an Auto can do during it’s last 3wks of life is just incredible. and yes, I usually grow mine under 18/6 and finish under 20/4. Starting an auto on 12/12 from birth brings out the photo stretching lying dormant within… remember, it’s still there. and, why I recommend after they sex to do a week of 12/12 to kick this trait into gear for bigger plants…

I culled the smallest Peanut Butter Breath plant… it just wasn’t up to par with the others and was causing crowding issues. So, as an experiment… I made her into 4 clones to test her. Mainly I want to know if she is vigorous enough to not need a humidity dome while rooting cuts…
Her after 24hrs of being cut… no wilting.

Spent some time on it last night and finished the foreground, started to fill in the background and now I need to sink his big arse feet into the muddy river and have the water flowing around them…

My wife is my biggest fan so it’s difficult to hide any of my workings for her, especially when first thing in the morning she’s asking to see it… then I go to bed… gotta stop this 14yr old all night crap I developed when my hips hurt so bad… so hard to reset that clock.

hahaha… you never stop huh? love it. Nope… I do clones in that weird bathroom light from 6am till dark… then they come out to the kitchen to go under the stove light until about 1am… so plenty of light, nothing to intense… I’ve done cloning using the back of my toilet sitting them up in that weird bathroom light via window… they love it. If serious about cuts, a heating pad under the tray for 1st week… usually rooted by then.
Cloning I usually use Rapid Rooters, Root66 and Superthrive. no cloning gels or powders… either dip n grow or nothing at all… success both ways… always take final cut right thru a node region at 45* angle, shave opposite site lightly in a 1" strip to expose more root area… 3 -5 days roots.
RR plug is used upside down, I tear a small chunk off the bottom edge to cram down into the hole the cutting is in to prevent it from spinning or moving around tearing away any small fine developed roots… it’s these little things that either allow or disallow success…

Nah, I was just wondering if they were gonna be reveg’d or rooted while flowing through.

For me, the perfect strain is one that doesn’t need a humidity dome to root up…
And trust me, not all can achieve this. not saying anything is wrong with that plant, but vigor is everything for me. I find ones that you can take a fresh cutting, prep it for dirt and just cram it in and in the morning are still up and viable… is a perfect strain to keep around… no humidity domes needed, no extra space… while some if you don’t, by morning are laying on their side…

So, as I get to learn a strain, I’ll constantly test it… Peanut Butter Haze is a real winner in my book

Yeah, I’ve been known to over-clone in the past. Often just sticking them straight in some soil and watering. Gladiator style, lol.

Sad part is, once they root and I’m done with this test… most likely I’ll toss em. Used to give them to a local buddy, but not seen him in months so why bother.
Too hot everywhere to send any cuttings too… 112f here today. in the shade on my porch… so most likely this is just for testing the strains vigor…

Eww, that’s a little to warm for my liking.
I also have a hard time culling clones that I’ve planted. Even though I had every intention of doing just that, lol.

Damn man and you thought you moved away from temps like that and now you getting them with humidity SUCKS! I have done a few autos 12/12 from start but I have 2 18 w lux cloning lights that are perfect for setting clones and seedlings so they at least get 2 wks of 24 hrs but only under those two strip lights. So it’s 24 light but very weak. Plants are looking good man. I had a local here I’d give clones or plants I didn’t have room for that were ready to flip and some hash haven’t heard a word from him. Not even a thanks for the hash cause he didn’t know he was getting it dropped 3 plants and goodies on his front porch he knows it came from me. Nothing since then he lives a mile away. Some people.

Right… I’ve given this guy so many plants… but all I had to do if out was stop by and the bro would load me up. He runs his own shop and tow business and is busy, so at least there’s an excuse. but yeah, If I don’t text him first or go over there, never hear a word… some people’s right…
