Hey folks, I see yāall discussing the vaccines. I put it off forever now my employer is really pushing for all of us to get vaccinated even offering a substantial bonus . The thing I worry about is getting sick from it and still having to work take care of kids etc
Hey @cannabliss , itās a tough one. I for one got both my shots as did my wife and daughter. My son and his wife both refused to and are both home now with Covid unfortunately. Would the shots have made a difference, we shall never know. To be honest I am not smart enough to tell you what to do. I have heard both sides of this debate and both make valid points. Itās just one of those things each person must evaluate for themselves.

My opinion is far FAR fewer people have been hospitalized or have died from the vaccine than have from the virus it protects us from.
Took the two shots and really had a minor pain in the muscle area in my armā¦ most of people around me who do have side effects are usually a bit of fever, headaches, feeling a bit cold, low blood pressureā¦ apart from that, not much more. You shouldnāt be worried about getting sick just like someone who did get sick (with covid 19, I mean). If were you, Iād consider the fact that this vaccine is mainly here as decent ammunition for us not to reach the unwanted level of need of ICU. Even with them, there are people dying despite the fact they had taken both shots. As Doug mentioned, what do I know!? I feel a bit safer for having taken. Hope that helps. All the best!
