uhm, (raises his hand). Thats normal in Cozumel though. When we painted the house “blueberry” (its 5gal of white with like a drip of blue, so more like off white blue), the house also cooled down noticeably! (originally was orange and yellow)… The roof paint / sealer is almsot exclusively white though…
It’s my “phone that never changes numbers” to me. I keep in touch with some HS friends, some college friends, staff from the aquarium forum, and a lot of travelling friends from around the world. I’m not one for sharing pic of lunch, and those that were were unfollowed. But I do keep in touch with everybody on my FB. Having 10,000 friend you don’t know is pure stupidity. Shared FB accounts are akin to saying “one of us cheated”. And lately its ads ads ads, and not much of interest. I like seeing the photography of one of my friends, he posts daily (scuba photos). When I ran social media for the dive center I HAD to be on social media. More and more, its anti-social media if you ask me. News is sensational, information is bogus, it gets tiresome sifting thru the junk for even one good piece of info…
And, pre-covid, if you noticed, gas always gets jacked up in the summer when familys travel and roadtrip and vacation, then drops again in the fall…
That’s why Bitcoin and other cryptos are open-source and peer-to-peer. It’s like trying to get people to stop using Napster. How well did that work? As far as tracking payments through BTC, the only way they can do that is through centralized institutions in the first place, or by attempting to subvert the miners running the ledger. At that point, the people who want the government out of their business react like the Bitcoin community did in 2017 to large miners attempting to raise the block size. The large miners did raise the block size, and then were forced to use those networks with larger block sizes mostly alone, or stick with mining the network with smaller block sizes because that’s the one everyone else uses. In theory, if people simply ran their own software, never messed with crypto exchanges and kept their wallet addresses private and pseudonymous through only using TOR and decentralized VPNs, the government would have no control over payments and virtually no ability to tax. The problem is changing the minds and habits of billions of people for intangible, long-term results that most of them aren’t interested in. Most people aren’t interested in rebellion as long as they’re kept reasonably comfortable.
I have a couple of electric bike motors although I would have to figure out how to incorporate them into the build. I want to build one although not quite like the one pictured. They are called velomobiles and many go for a low profile and streamlined look. They are also heavier than my preference. I would like to have a framework and then covered in fabric, Dacron is a popular one in boat building.
I used to bike a lot, want an alternative to a bike where I am sheltered from the elements a little and sitting back rather than over the bike. Also want to pick up groceries and the like. But I have a couple projects already on the go so this one might be two years away. If I never started growing I bet I would have had one built by now.
Seriously though do I send him something that may not fit in his grow area or what and let it just be wasted. Idk what to do for him since he won’t answer simple questions
Honestly I would just move on. I offered him something as well just to make him happy, he doesnt seem to want to be happy. You tried several times, I would just call it a wash. Su is bit this stuff happens sometimes.
If you’re trying to send him something that’ll work for pretty much anyone, hard to go wrong with autos. No matter what kind of grow space, he’ll be pretty much unable to outgrow it in the time it takes them to flower.
I don’t have many autos and I was trying to match the number of seeds he sent, so thats why i was asking what he liked because I could work out sending a few different strains to match
It happens bud. Cant be posting them PMs. Dont sweat the bad review. You can leave the story there, just not show PMs. People have gotten to know you, one bad review wont change your life. Its just the internet after all.
Open question: what’s the smallest size of pot/plant y’all would consider running for a pheno hunt? I have a 4’x8’ tent in a greenhouse that I’m using for autos probably through mid December that I’ll be using for an auto seed run.
Currently they’re small enough that I’m moving them in and out to give them ~22-23 hours of light each day (~11.5 hrs under LED, ~11.5 hrs of sunlight), but when they get large enough that it becomes more of a challenge/risk to move them they’ll stay put and I’ll run them about 18 hrs a day on a timer.
I’d like to piggyback on that 18-hr light cycle to veg photos to hunt phenos during the winter for my main outdoor grow, and I’d like to be able to run as many seeds as I can, but at some point there’ll be space constraints.
So I’d put it to the wisdom of the crowd: how small can you run 'em and still get any kind of worthwhile information?
