Nope cuz, it wasnāt even close to any plan of mine. it simply became a slight ānecessityā after the train-wreck happened. I wish it coulda stayed but at LJās recommendation to move it, I went with that.

Has anyone tried doing mini bonsai pot plants? Iām about to have a good harvest but over winter in thinking of trying to do a lil bonsai plant not really for bud. just for looks really lol. Iām thinking of starting a thread if others are down to try it lol. Maybe get a lil comp going

@StevieG I used that method for about 20yrs. itās great to keep the space used to a minimum.
I canāt. Iāll survive Iām sure, but fwiw I do think the requirement of being a regular is too much. Iām not blaming you; I know you want your privacy and this is the only way to get it from this site. I just think the limitation of making the Private Lounge section restricted to regulars is probably restricting a lot more people than itās really intended to, which is unfortunate. I donāt know if itās something even @LemonadeJoe could change; if itās hardcoded rather than being a convenient setting on an admin-level preferences tab, that could get pretty damn messy, and most of us probably arenāt very good at reverse-engineering binary code into hex to edit the machine language directly.

I have to disagree. There is a point to this system and @LemonadeJoe lowered the requirements just a few months back. Lowering it again really just makes the whole system pointless. We dont want folks joining and in no time being seen as regulars. Some long standing members use the private area to keep thigs out of site from new users and that would not work if basically everyone was a regular in no time. A certain amount of participation is required to meet that status. Now one issue that folks were complaining about was dropping from regular to member status. Joe lowered criteria and also made it so it takes 3 months to lose your status instead of 1, that was a big fix as was lowering requirements. He also created Regular Emeritus designation so even if you drop from TL3 to TL2 you can still sign up for Co-ops as TL3. Its just one of those things and serves a purpose.

@Cormoran donāt worry bud, time and participation fixes things, and in the meantime, its not like you are missing much other than Johnnys thread there (which I gotta say is gonna be the only reason I am in that area now, so that shows what you missed in the past, not too much). I understand thats not what some want, but gotta agree to respect Johnnyās and LJās requests hereā¦

I think people are misunderstanding. Iād follow along and happily play in @JohnnyPotseedās circus, but Iām not particularly sore about it; I just think the requirements for Regular status are a bit too draconian to be applied to it. Not because I canāt be in there, but because @MoBilly canāt and heās been here and active for 8 months. Iāll probably be TL3 in another 35 days, but itās certainly not because Iām more active, a better member or friendlier than himā¦ itās because Iām bothering to scroll through a couple threads Iām not all that interested in for it.

Honestly shocked @MoBilly canāt, considering heās very active where Iāve browsed here. But I also read everything I can, maybe thats part of it, as you said about scrolling thru threads you arent interested in.

As far as the trust levels go, I certainly understand why thereās a desire to keep people from signing up and immediately participating in all the co-op giveaways. If thereās real money involved, it absolutely makes sense. I didnāt complain two weeks ago when @DougDawson told me heād rather not send me PPP seeds and to wait for higher trust levels, and Iām still not. I just think TL3 is probably too much for the Private Lounge area if itās keeping people whoāve been active for the better part of a year away simply because they havenāt read enough threads. Itās an edge case, I guess, but itās silly.
