I havenāt had a single Trick or Treater in the 3 or 4 years Iāve lived here. Benefits of living on a semi busy road I guess!
For the past 8 or 9 years numbers here are dwindling. 2 yrs ago we had ONE kid, and both her parents (up the street). Last year I was in Cozumel for Halloween, so I had no clue and figured with Covid, we had no kids. Well, the GF bought a bunch of candy this weekā¦ Iām like WTF? We donāt need that much for 1 kid. Evidently we had so many kids last year that she was scrambling to find somethng to give out. Trunk or Treat really took the fun out of halloween hereā¦
I live on a rural road north of the Catskills in NY and I havenāt any kids for Halloween except grandkids in 20 years. For the first 5 years we were here, we bought candy and no kids came. Now I get at least one grandkid so we are always prepared with candy we would never buy but end up eating.
I like Halloween and horror movies and am glad that kids are out having fun, I just prefer if I donāt have to be involved lol.
Thereās a town near me that does Trick Or Treating the night before Halloween cause they have a big parade on Halloween day and somewhere along the line decided that was the way to handle it. When I was a kid my mom would take us there the night before and then weād hit our neighborhood on actual Halloween. We did pretty well on candy!
Anyone in so cal should atleast go to the queen marry for the Haunted house. It usually has about 7 hounted house, and the ships haul is the best one out of them all.
Hands down the best Iāve been to beside 13 doors.
Nice Is it for ecigs @EugeneDebs420 !? Great weekend everyone!!!
I still have about a half a jar in my fridge myself, along with a jar that is mixed with hemp rosin and some terpenes. We have not used it in a while, mainly because my wife broke some of the equipment we used specifically for it lol. I had drifted away from it a bit before that just because I was racking up a variety of THC rosins from harvests.
Vape carts. Iām really doubting their claim of cannabis derived terpenes though. tastes like one of those green koolaid squeeze drinks
Have fun!! Still, make it worth it!
I grew up on the North shore of Long Island. We would hit different neighborhoods and half fill a kitchen size garbage bag with an amazing assortment of candy. Parents never intervened in the several week process of consuming mostly sugar. We loved it. As we got older we entered the trick era where you paid back nasty neighbors with stupid, malicious behavior like breaking the family pumpkin in the street. And some would do much worse that that. I remember being caught throwing eggs by the local police. They pulled us over and broke all of our eggs on the backseat floor rug of my friendās fatherās fairly new Grand Prix. It took a while to clean that up. Whose chatty, must be the sativa and coffee.
Can someone tell me anything about the strain SWT #4 please?
Sweet Wonderā¦?
@MoBilly Sweet Tooth #4
Thanks @Oldtimerunderground .
Iāll look that up on Leafly.
@MoBilly Iāll tell you the only thing you need to know, grow those beans!! Lol, it is some really nice smoke sweet, smooth, and tasty, with a great high.
Oh, and youāre most welcome
Iām actually going through my list and researching and cataloging strain descriptions in preparation for my next run. I just got these so I donāt know much about the strain.
LOL I still have only smoked a handful of strains since I started so my knowledge is lacking.
We liked the trick part of it too but we were a bit more creative and destructive with it. If Iām honest we were total assholes and I feel bad for some of it, just random destruction to total strangers cause we thought it was funny. I would smack the shit out of teenage me now. When walking down the street in broad daylight in July opening mailboxes and throwing eggs inside while having a casual conversation seems almost mundane you have to step it up on THE trick day.
burped jars. panama red that smelled like tamales now smells like fresh cut jalapenos or something from a taco shop i think. weird.
Hi @anonymous4289, have you been to some Mexican restaurant lately!?
no joke! Love the description!
Have to agree with you, strangely enough, some of them, if not a lot, smell and taste like, detergent, pine sol, cleaning products, cat piss, dog piss, and others!!!
yeah, weird smells for sure. i usually have trouble with the smells coming out during cure (grassy) but this blueberry pie i have smells amazing. even from harvest. it smelled like windex and ginger ale but now it smells like blueberry yogurt. very happy with that one.
