86°F here… Okay it was closer to 30°C but still plenty warm.
I took a jog to the store for some chips but now I’m going to eat them inside where its cool.
They are ruffles.

What’s yalls favorite temp for decarb? And if making canna butter in a crockpot (one of the simple ones) should I use hi or low? And for how many hours?
I’ve made it before. On the stovetop. Trying to keep the temp steady was a bitch. The first time I made them they were the best. That was when I had a thermometer and babied it. I figured a crockpot would make it easier.
If you have any experience w it, please help me out

240F for 35 minutes. Depends on your elevation and how well your oven holds temps though. If you have an instapot or a sous vide it’s more consistent with temps.

I do have an instant pot also. I don’t think mine has the sous vide option. It’s the one that’s a crock pot + air fryer. The duo. Or something like that.

Yeah and If you want it more sedating, let it natural release, for about 15-20 minutes, and remember to let it cool, that way you save all the terpenes.
The steam on a quick release will smell a little weedy though for sure haha

Yah, I usually just figure like 5% THC potential for trim, so base your math on that, what you want to hit for the entire batch.

I forget how to do that… so 2 oz would be 28x2=56. Then 56x1000=56,000mg. Then 56,000x.05?
That would be 2,800mg. But my brownie mix only calls for 1/2 cup of canna butter. I figure it will take at least 1 1/2 cups butter to cover 2 oz trim lol I’m having a brain fart.

X .05 for 5% so should be 2800mg potential based on 5% trim
