Cherry X Remedy

Here is another attempt at the Red Cherry Berry X Remedy cross I got from @cannabissequoia last year. This is my second attempt at growing this strain, first time I tried I had 2 going and I killed one cuz I was “looking” at her and then she split all the way down the middle. I have 2 cherry and an unknown bag seed in a 4x4x8 tent. Using a 1200 watt VIPARSPECTRA LED light. Plants are in 3 gallon pots with Fox Farm Ocean soil.
Today is day 47 of flower.
Thanks again @cannabissequoia for the gift.

My pleasure to pass on the magic. :slight_smile: :thumbsup:

The toddlers are in corduroy with those ridged leaves :joy_cat:

They both have Skunk as grandparents so I’m curious what you’re smelling; The fruitiness seems to be the dominant aroma.

Based on the few intial reviews, everyone’s liking this cross & I’ll be doing one outdoors next year.

Looking great!

By the looks of the red light, it appears you are only using the bloom switch on your light. I highly recommend (as do most others) that you run it with both switches turned on.

@cannabissequoia
The smell is very fruity and a hint of earthy musk.
Also there is a heavy cat pee(ish), musky smell that must me the unknown plant. Either way, I don’t mind the smell

@cogitech
So I did see that in the instructions that came with the light. I thought, must be for a different model cuz it has 2 switches. I did just flip the veg switch so we will see what happens.
Thanks for confirming that for me. Ha ha, what a newbie mistake. That’s why I bring it to OG
Thanks again

When I was only running a blurple LED (similar to yours) I would run just the veg switch in early veg, because they can only handle so much intensity at that stage. Usually around the 3rd week of veg I would turn on the bloom switch (leaving the veg switch on as well) and use it like that for the remainder of the run. With just the bloom switch on, the spectrum might be optimized but the intensity is only about half of what the light is capable of delivering - and that makes a big difference. Best of luck with the rest of the grow.

Don’t feel bad, @Prince. My first and only (had to take a break for a while and am doing just CBD right now) I popped eight, got 7 to sprout and somehow killed all of the with in two weeks.

Look forward to seeing how you make out.

Boo, that musta sucked

It did. Now I tend to open my cabinet like 20 times a day, “Are they okay”. Doing a little better, though. just popped 6 each of Earth Lover, Dragon Tongue (gotta love @Sebring) and Chery hemp. Only killed 2 of the EL’s, one of the DT but three of the Hemp. The rest are doing okay. Time, though, will tell.

I grew about 5 of those cherry x remedy from @Sebring. My heroes are on here. I had a couple phenos ranging from a bit higher thc and low cbd to almost no thc and high cbd. (Going off of pain management from my girlfriend, no testing here) the taste is great, everyone i have shared with loves it. I sell some to a couple people who now swear by it for pain management.
