Chlorosis of leaves

Started noticing yellowing of leaves, almost lime green at edges at first…has progressed to this. I’m guessing nutrient deficiency?? Would osmocote help?

First off … don’t use that stuff. What have you been giving this plant and what type of medium is it growing in?

From what I see in the pic, it almost looks like too much water and too much nitrogen.

What is your watering routine? Have you been feeding the osmocote? Any other nutes? What kind of soil, temps, lighting?

I haven’t used it yet. I haven’t been putting anything on them and they were planted in a bagged potting soil. Emerged Jan 10th. I started 2 plants at the same time and my other shows no signs of chlorosis, which is strange to me. This is my first time growing indoors. They are autoflowering feminized bubblegum. And I water every morning with a spray Bottle until the top of soil looks moist, then usually a second time in the afternoon.

Not ENOUGH water!!! Not knowing what particular “Bagged potting soil”, it’s difficult to advance a correct theory. SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

“Bagged potting soil” this is not usually a good way to go for marijuana. Some have nutrients already mixed in and can be too strong for young plants. Your gonna have to be more specific here .

Type of medium ( soil) name/brand/composition
Watering routine ( frequency/ volume) spray bottle shouldn’t be used. Water top of cup ,wait till dry and light, holes in bottom of cup
What type of light are you using

Any information you give will help people to help you . get specific

It was the yellow bag of Miracle grow. This is my first time growing indoors, so I’m just learning as I go. I water them twice a day with spray bottle, sometimes more. But I just spray until the top of the soil looks moist. I’m not sure about the exact volume, I can start measuring it out though.

You have typical nitrogen toxicity, that causes leaf claw and tacoing. Once it gets bad enough the leaves will yellow and burn up.

To much of anything affects the plants ability to use other nutrients, causing multiple lockouts.

I personally would not use anything with miracle on the label. Look for a bag of promix vegetable and herb organic mix where you got the miracle grow from, it will be more balanced for growing weed. It will still need some supplements, depending on the size of your pot and how long you veg for.

When I water or tea to any size of potted plants, I give them fluid until I see some weep from the bottom of the pot. I always use either a saucer/tray under my pots so I can see run off.
From 1 or 2 ounce cups, to 4 inch pots to 1 gallon, or 3 gallon pots or even when I use the 10 gallon pots set on a 12 gallon saucer.
You will get there!!

@Cccmm you have another threads addressing the same issues I mentioned on the other thread it’s overwatering and I asked the same question over there

They are very unhappy :frowning: let them dry out

I agree with @webeblzr and @misterbee

Try to find a 3 part fertilizer like fox farm ( it covers veg and bloom ) or jacks 20/20/20 for veg

Drainage is very important what ever soil you use you should add about 20 % perlite
This looks like a combo of over watering and too hot soil for the plant

You don’t want to constantly water. You want to water well, then let the soil nearly dry out before you water again. This allows oxygen to get down to the roots. I’m not saying this is definitely the issue, but I would change your watering practices. If the top of the soil is drying out too quick for your taste, use some mulch. It will more uniformly dry out afterwards rather than just the top being bone-dry and the bottom being probably soaking wet

Anyone know what kind of lighting this is?

Thats a ts600, really nice little led. Good to veg about 2.5x2.5 or flower a 2x2, barely.

I have 2 plants under it. They emerged Jan 10th. I just added a third plant in the grow tent. It emerged a few days ago. Are you saying I have too many plants for this size light?

Having new problems with my plant. It looks like something is chewing up the leaves. Could I have aphids in my indoor grow tent???

I’m gonna tell you how i would fix this. I would buy a bag of quality soil. Anything from the grow shop. Maybe Roots Organics or Sohum. Honestly any soil dor cannabis. Transplant into it’s forever pot and you are golden… No nutrients or anything Ann’syou can probably finish flower without any nutrients if you wanted.

Don’t forget the perlite.

It doesn’t appear to be damaged from little evils

Looked at it again and it looks over watered

Well, it depends on the size of your plants. 3 plants in a 2x2 tent with 2 gallon pots are going to completely fill the tent. In a good way. Thats the max I would run without some supplement to that light. I have 2 of the next wattage up of that light and absolutely love them.

If you open the little rubber plug on the top of the driver, youcan adjust the brightness.
