Chocolate Thai Three way genetics Co-Op run it (CLOSED)

Very nice. I love the way those buds look.

Just received new USB microscope, I’ll try and get some shots of the two Phenos in bud today. I’ll run a handful of the ? X First two plants in a germ test. If anyone is able to put some down right away I’ll send a dozen for a test run.

I put last 6 plants in to sex and cull any remaining males. 10 female plants are seeded for the run now with around 12 weeks to go. Will collect the remaining pollen from males this week and will get at least a few males based on about 60/40 F/M ratio out of the remaining 6 teens.

TIMBERRRRRRR!! , big ones getting chopped, have trich pics on computer. Looks like it could keep going, mostly cloudy with more amber than clear. She still sucking pot dry every 3 days, but the first two were

not as resinous or as many trichs as the next plant. Tag got buried but I think she’s at around 90 days.

I hate when that happens - I have started to label the plants with a plant marker as well as marking the pots

Awesome thread and pictures, really been wanting to work with Chocolate Thai, there’s a local cut that is very good that I’m trying to acquire as well, could be of use to preservation if I can get a good male.

I’ve been wanting to grow CT for ages. Wanted to see if it had the same buzz I got from all the Thai Sticks I used to consume in the late 70s.

Got lots of beans to swap with if there is any CT beans to spare.

Starting to shuck seeds, reminds me of my teens sifting Brick weed to roll pinner joints to sell 3-5$ in the smoking area at school…

Here’s where I’m at, harvested 10 plants with open pollination of all males mixed pollen. These are some finicky plants and I’m afraid the single 1250 watt did not do them justice. They have been taking water and nutes but all seemed to stall out. Thinking I hit them too early with pollen. None the less they have seed and most are mature dark and mottled. I have kept one female clone back and sectioned her twice for 3 plants that I will veg for a month and hit them with the saved pollen. Shooting for a couple thousand to cover all the OG’rs . I’m not sure who is handling distribution for OG, I know I havnt seen one seed run pack in a year and I’ve signed up for most. If anyone more knowledgeable than me can jump in I can forward them for packaging and distribution.

those are nice looking seeds  I got some Thai seeds back from PoG when he was pimping

stolen Gypsy Nirvana seeds

he gave out as freebies bag seeds (I believe) from his vacation in Thailand

I took a male plant in full pollen ran thru this 20 or 25 plants (indica crosses) waving it like a magic wand

I had a ton of tiny black of a cross that would never finish in New York

learned a very good lesson about making beans

not the way

great thread thank you for sharing it

@Instg8ter From what I understand, @Sebring is taking care of the distribution.

Sebring is our official distributor for the co-op these days.
I’m a co-op volunteer question answerer,
so everybody feel free to shout me out with an @zephyr if you have any questions about the co-op.

That’s awesome. I remember those days sitting around with the Pink Floyd The Wall double album and a playing card. Every now and than you miss one and get that exploding joint going on, lol. Oh the memories.

I have lots of seeds I would like to send down to Sebring but I’m really worried about them getting grabbed up by customs. 200-300 or more each of half a dozen crosses.

Just going to age out sitting around here so a Canadian distribution point would be better.

I was speaking with @Shadey and believe his is a Canadian Distribution point for Seed runs.

I’ll see if he wants to take them then. I met Shadey at the old CC forums and made him Admin to help out there when I was away.

just got some beans from him a few weeks ago and have 5 of the Nepali Temple he sent growing now. Got 4 out 5 Sebrings Revenge Patch Adams S1s going as well.

Awesome. I just met him but as a Canadian and seed addict it’s great to have someone up here in the North doing this. I am way down on the list for this one but still hopeful
