Chocolate Thai Three way genetics Co-Op run it (CLOSED)

Here’s the Germ test, 2 night soak in 10% HP/Tap water. 10/10 on dark about 50% on the pail seed. Really hate killing seeds but I have no room to get theses down in soil. I may set a mini DWC up to handle them. At the least I’ll put them in Kcups and try and hold in veg for a month.

And here’s a bush clone I put in to make another 1500 seeds so all on both lists can get a 20 pack

I am going to plant them 4 to a hole and let the most vigorous win… mainly because I am at my limit and just like women my plant cycle in the perpetual was come full circle to leave me high and dry with a month before I can grab a nice headstash harvest…anyone in SE Michigan up for some gifting?

How does donating seeds work? I mean the criteria for what seeds are accepted? I probably have a hundred purple Malawi seeds I could send in… this is for the server fund right?

Straight co-op run, I’m shooting fir 3000 to cover sign ups and any leftover will be donated to Freakers Collective and server fund auctions. Have 4 staggerd clones from best mother that I will be seeding out and maybe the best for a final seedless run for a good smoke test…seeded plants are a nice Java, and a bit of cacao, nutty and a bit of honey sweetness on exhale …

co-op rules:

for completed projects, you can get in touch with the co-op in PM or in the strain donation thread. Sebring is in charge of US distribution and shipping to international distributors, so you can contact him directly.

I am always available as a co-op volunteer to answer questions, help with logistics, and to help members get in touch with the right co-op volunteers.

There are more specific requirements for a seed pack donation being grown by a volunteer, that requires a grow journal with documentation from day one until distribution.

With a completed project we don’t need to worry about a volunteer running off with a donated seed pack, so there is more flexibility.

The standard rule is that a completed project just needs some photos taken during the grow, and/or photos of the seed pack that was used to verify authenticity.

Because you are an established member with a long history of throughly documented grows, I’m sure we don’t need to worry about those requirements in this case.

These are the types of lines that qualify for co-op distribution:

Discontinued breeders packs
breeders packs that are currently available for sale can only be used with approval from the breeder
heirlooms with no claim of authorship
local black market lines
landraces

hybrids made by members do not qualify. the only exception is sexually stable lines that have been shared and documented extensively by many growers on the site. like 50state’s Orange Goji for example, as well as the old OGer’s strain.

Strains like these become kind of like overgrow signature lines, and if they are grown widely, well documented, and well loved by many members of the site, we want to preserve them and share them more widely.

Thanks for the detailed response. I had no idea I could send landrace seeds in to be sold for the server fund. Good thing you said something or I may never have known.

These are actually the rules for the co-op, the server fund auctions are really a separate thing.

Sorry about that, I forgot that you were asking about the server fund here. Was still thinking about our conversation about the co-op from earlier this morning.

The server auctions are usually handled directly by the member who puts up seeds for auction, and lemonade joe handles the site donations when bidding is finished.

Sometimes I have a couple blonde streaks in my hair. I know our group is planning on sending seeds into the server fund, but it passed right over my head that I could do that without the group LOL. With seed I already have. So I could send a bunch of Malana in for the coop, and also some for the server fund? What do they sell for? Last question I promise. Sorry to clog the thread.

The server funds are usually an auction. I donated my 2019 outdoor projects, and they sold for way more than I intended. I was planning for them to be cheap easy meds, but some packs ended up getting pretty expensive. Most had about 50 seeds, but I was expecting no more than $20 per pack. If I did that again, I would probably ask joe if we could do it as a fixed price donation.

The other thing I should mention is that when the co-op collects its donations to cover shipping, there is also a 2 dollar per strain donation that goes directly to the server fund.

So co-op seed donations are also funding the server, bringing in $2 for the server fund from each pack that is sent out.

Sometimes it needs to be reiterated.

No reason you couldn’t do a fixed-price sale to raise server funds.

20 packs of XYZ are available for $N. First 20 people to respond get them for $N each. $N is donated to the server fund and verified by Joe.

@50State did a sale like that some time back for Orange Goji and a few others.

Here is the first clone starting her run today, 80 days to 1500 more seeds? Just gave her a good pruning of bottom and cleaned out the middle for air flow. Just in case 3 of her twins are waiting in the wings. I will pollinate per @Tonygreen around 40% into flower so around thirty days from today she will have a date with a baggie of mixed male pollen.

Didn’t realize that had been done before. If I ever do another server fund donation it will be fixed price.

Don’t get me wrong though, the donations that people made were amazing. I really appreciate everybody who bid and donated to the server.

I grabbed one of those Orange Goji :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:, I’m with you, fixed price is better. Auctions are competitive, which may bring quarrels and discussions, no money pays that. We have lost two members recently because of them. I was the victim of a late sniper in one of them, everything legal but unloyal, since then I haven’t participated anymore and will not … :sunglasses:

Yeah I think that set pricing is best because well… playing roulette and hoping just sucks to snipers.
