What a beauty, that’s like a catalogue plant it looks so perfect…I think she’s starting to show some purple there too.
Weird leaves and bananas are definitely no shock from anything blueberry really.

Pictures are pretty but what’s the end product like?
They do seem a lot different than the blue lines I have grown from DJ. Much leafier, but without the curl. Less purples.
Taste and smell may be similar, but I only grew a few of the DP BB.
I will update when shes ready to smoke. I took this plant down 3 days ago, its hanging now.

Smell I picked up during the chop was very floral. . I have a few smaller buds I’m going to try out in a few days for a quick sample.

Hello friends, I finally got a day off from work and I wanted to give an update on this, cause I said I would… I’ve been smoking this one before work every morning.
The smell from the dried bud is very floral, no blueberry smell to it. It is very nice smoke, tastes like roses would smell if you were to take a rose and crumble it up in your hands. I like the taste a lot.
It’s funny that the original thread said blue dream, because it made me feel much like I do from blue dream. Up, happy, calm but ready to deal with any shit that may come up. I’m not really good at the description part of this, but you know… Feel good, happy, sociable, that kinda stuff. Good bud, is what I call it. I joke sometimes with people, I know how good the weed is, if I’m not able to shut up Thats what this is.
For me theres strong weed around, but a lot of it just gets me high, it’s strong, but it doesnt make me feel good. This blueberry does. In my book thats good. I’d grow it again.

I wanted to add. I think it’s so cool that a person that didnt even know me, was willing to send me seeds (for free) asking for nothing in return, and now I have really good bud to smoke and share with the people I know and hold dear. This site, and the people on here are really good folks. Something special going on here, or maybe it’s the blueberry talkin

That’s great to hear.
I agree many blueberry phenos lean floral. With the fruit, funky ones being rare. I also like the floral side (flo, one of the BB parents, is one of my favorite daytime smokes due to its heady, easy going effects).
I am still kicking myself for the seed mix up and hope to make those Blue Dream S1 sometime. Its been a bitch to get to pollinate for some reason though.

Blue dream doesn’t take pollen well? Or is the reversed pollen not very viable? Did the flower pods open and drop pollen on their own or did you have to dry the pods and bust them open? I have a few cuttings and I was hoping to reverse a clone each of a few different cuts with sts to collect pollen.
I’m not sure. The flowers open and drop pollen seemingly fine. I have just had poor seed set the couple times I have tried. Usually I do it inside pollen bags, which sometimes have less success anyway, so the next time I am going to try a whole room open-pollinated. Then I’m done with trying probably. I have maybe 50-100 S1 seeds of it when I should have thousands.

I’ve read reversed pollen can be hit or miss and results are often like that… which doesn’t stand well for me if I want to store some pollen. If manual pollination will only result in a handful of seeds, then yea I guess the price of fem seeds is maybe more justified.
