@Inmyblood

Did you wear them out??? LoL

LOLā€¦no I do use them alot but not to point of wearing them out.

They all do a poor job of collection, I live where humidity is 75-90 percent every day, and they gum up. Some grind hard, some grind ok, none of them work well. Guess im gonna try a 70 fucking dollar grinder and see if it is better. I use the shotglass and scissor method lately

Have you thought of using an electric coffee grinder or spice grinder? Should take care of the problemā€¦ just remember to pulse, pulse, pulse! (Otherwise youā€™ll end up with powdered potā€¦)

Hate powdered pot. Like the way it comes out with a small orange pair of Fiskers snippers and a shot glass. If you have not tried it, do, that is the consistency I like.

@Dr.VitaminGreen

I meant to tell you that I have a growing diary going called Runt Seed Surprise if you want to check out how Iā€™ve been doing.

Also, under the topic: Occasional Seed found in Female Bud, that also turned into a growing diary for a plant that is a little further along.

I will be posting new pics to both threads later today.

Welcome! Head Chef Grinders? Care to elaborate my friend? Iā€™m searching for new grinders myself.

Dang, I hadnā€™t thought of the humidity playing a part in gunking up the grinders, yeah, no wonder you never get an expensive one, no point if they all fail the same way. Have you ever seen the Brilliant Cut grinders? They are Hella Hella expensive but threadless I do believe, so perhaps less gunkin

Hahah, so much good bud has been put through there! Grinders donā€™t just breakdown our bud, they are objects that have so many memories stored in them as well.

And kief, canā€™t forget about the Kieffy kief :drooling_face: :joy:

Heck ya! First off, thank you for your service to our great country! Sorry about your cat man, thatā€™s a rough way to find them, ours just disappear in the night if they wonder to far and foxes or coyotes or alligators or bobcats get them. You have a good heart brother. I too am growing in an uninsulated shed outside bringing in outside air. Temps in the 90s and humidity in the 70-90 range. In veg mode they grow great! Last year I hooked up a small window unit to the outside intake vent and flowered just fine. This time Iā€™m guna try without it just for the fun of it cuz growing just during winter is ghey. And all the racket from the AC unit is suss with the racket(our teenager brings his friends over all the time). Welcome back to growing!!!

Thanks! Yeah, I am from the country, so I understand how harsh life can be, I am honestly sick though of strays and people not taking care of their animals properly, it was an easily prevented situation. It is what it is though, she blessed us since we adopted her. We always adopt, and I am about to start doing fostering for a local shelter, itā€™s an easy way to help no-kill shelters, and also I get lots of cats to love on haha. :heartbeat:

Yeah, my room is sealed in the back of my barn, and I have a tent in it. Currently running a dehumidifier, but that produces so much heat, I should have gotten a dual hose portable AC and run it through the wall the first time, but you know how it is with setting up a new environment in harsh conditions got to try 20 different things to find what works. :grimacing:

My panel out there is only setup for the 110v? Amperage or whatever, Iā€™m not an electrician lol, or I would have just gone with a mini-split. If I can save up enough for the panel upgrade and the mini split, my brother in law is an electrician and Iā€™m sure he would do it for me if I take him fishing and get him food/beer :joy:

Thanks for the welcome back! Feels good! Hope you have a great day :sunglasses:

Here is my take on a grinderā€¦
image
This one has no space for collecting the kief, but I keep my kief with the weed personally.
I have jars full of kief from trim, so there is thatā€¦LOL

To cleanā€¦
I just fill it with iso alcohol and let is sit for a day and the grunge tends to come right off with a strong water spray.

They are very large too, I love them.

Peace
Shag

That AC/heater unit I posted the picture of runs on regular house current.

Yeah, thatā€™s why I am going with a portable and not the mini. Just got to cut holes in the back wall or else the AC will just be blasting heat back into the space. Got to exhaust it somewhere.
