Co-op Strain Donations and Breeder Match Ups

I’ve been thinking ahead to what I might reproduce next growing season (I don’t have a heated indoor space) and wondered if people had any thoughts. I can probably fit in two Co-Op runs over the spring-summer-fall of '25.

Someone recently asked me if I might consider doing a Co-Op run on one of Bodhi’s CBD/HP crosses - TBH I haven’t run any of the CBD crosses I already have because I’m usually in it for the high, but it seems pretty clear there is some interest in CBD hybrids so that might be a good choice?

Or maybe there are already CBD projects in the works and I should stick to THC bearing plants?

Bodhi gear is always popular for Co-Ops, but maybe it’s getting oversaturated? Maybe I should plan on something different, or something Bodhi adjacent (I have a few Strayfox packs that might be worth diving into).

There is so much good stuff Bodhi has put out, its hard to not pick him.

Stray is a great alternative if you choose. What packs are you thinking?

The two that stood out to me were Rollin 88 (Tranquil Elephantizer Remix x Snowqueen) and Dragon Fuel (Dragon Soul x Purple Kandahar).

ETA: OTOH Bodhi did just put a Dragon Soul hybrid out.

I have a few old Stray Fox packs. One I have always wanted to get into but it just did not fit. It’s called “Samurai” and I have had it so long there is nothing about it anywhere. early work but I wrote down some notes. It’s Katsu Bubba x Appalacia I believe.
Stray gave me his blessings to repro for Overgrow if you guys think its interesting enough for A co-op.
What y’all think?

I’m a huge Strayfox fan, so I’d say go for it, and I’m sure many others will agree, that cross sounds excellent…

I don’t know much about anything, but the Lemon CBDiesel I placed up for a vote has a fantastic high. While that’s a 1:1 cultivar, I still wouldn’t be deterred from sampling more dominant CBD hybrids.

Other options I have is the following:

Hazeman The White x 88g13HP
Exotic Genetix Pizookies
Katsu Snow Plow
Santero Snow Thrower
Katsu AK47 F3
Copa Genetics Mike Drop
Copa Genetics SCBB
Loompa Farms Yeti F3
TH Seeds Skunk XXX

Doc D seeds… GSC Forum Cut x Afkansastan/x18 Pakistani, Dragonfruit Thai, Aussie Energy, Dreadbread (bodhi cut) x (Hollywood Pure Kush x Uzbekistani HP)

CSI … Colombian Mango Biche, Weapon X, Mendo Purple Bx1, Pine Tar Kush, Uzbekistani, '79 Xmas Bud, Bastard Biscuits F3.

I am not sure how or who makes the decision to set these Co-Ops up but I plenty to offer and fit in my grow schedule so others can enjoy them also.

The Pine Tar Kush from CSI is an IBL. Not sure if that changes opinions. CSI doesnt make too many regular seeds from what I have browsed endless on their website

That strain would be awesome.

That would be the @coopactiongroup . Co-op runs are for rare and discontinued strains. You would have to put one of them up for a vote in the voting thread.

Looks like we’ve got a cbd medical strain project getting started right now.

If you have any of bodhi’s heirloom or landrace hybrids, those are generally rich in trace cannabinoids and would be a good choice for options with high medicinal value.

Yeah the Yeti would be a good one too!

I do have Rajasthani Space Probe, and Lower Ulleri Nepali. I don’t know how much luck I’d have running the latter indoors. Oh, and Bodhi’s reproduction of Reeferman’s Nigerian x Afghan which I understand may have some CBD production (the mom in that in particular).

I am down to grow any of my listed and willing to change my grow schedule if it means I can help spread seeds myself or for a fellow OG. :v::sunglasses:

I hate to say but the Yeti I have was won in an auction from @Even during the summer months. Not a sealed breeder pack if thats a major qualification. Still awesome to have though :sunglasses::call_me_hand:

The yeti you have are a worked version of loompas in F4, JonPott. I invested over 1200 for the seeds to make my selections, towards the underdog side, at 200 per pack a decade ago, plus, which was very unusual at the time. Not like today when it seems like every hack charges a fortune for mids. I still have some originals and some abominable snowman f1 from loompa that I plan to work in future. My stock came straight from the man directly. I still have the breeder packs but yours are my selection work

It is still a work in progress that I aim to continue over the next years.

By the way, if you want to see a picture of the breeder pack(s) I posted a photograph of it in the apollo 13 server fund thread not long ago, where the seeds were won by you.
