I’ve got Barney’s farm Amnesia Lemon Haze, but I don’t have any experience with it. I hate to admit it, but one of the best hazes I’ve ever smoked was a strain from Dutch Passion many years ago called Isis. They wouldn’t give up the genetics on her, but she was absolutely electric. There was a spot on the carpet that would start moving out of the corner of my eye when I looked away from it and snap back into place when I would look at it again. It was really, really good haze. I “greened” out on her a couple of times
I also have SSH. I love her as well.
Nice!! Hey man, Barney’s and Dutch Passion were some of the best when I was first buying seeds. They had killer stuff. I’m sure there’s still stuff to be found in some of their stuff. Sad if not. I’ve got some Doc D A5/Thai crosses and probably some other stuff in the fridge if you want to grow something like that out just let me know.
I really appreciate the offer. So many strains and so little time
You did a masterful job with all of the plants in this most current run. I’ve not seen that one CJ pheno, the one that greatly resembles a cookies strain with the wide node spacing and ping pong ball nuggets. Interested to know how it compares to the other CJ.
Beautiful work
So far, they are definitely different. Many similarities, but the smells are different now that they’re chopped. The purpled hued one (CJ1) has a sweet gassy smell. Similar to GG#4, but sweeter. I can’t even describe smell on CJ2 (the golf balled one). Very sweet and complex and deep. I’ll try to give a better detailed report on them on dry trim day. They were an absolute dream to grow. Nice job on the reversal
I do not recall seeing anyone growing the CJ with that pheno. Maybe it’s the holy grail and the clones you kept off her will be very desirable.
Greetings OG’s.
It’s been a long two weeks. Crazy hours at work and I only had a couple of hours each night to trim and jar the girls. I’m absolutely spent, so please forgive the update. I might leave something out. Here are all four of the girls. From left to right, FCOG 1 (taller pheno), FCOG 2 (shorter pheno), CJ1 (Shorter pheno), CJ2 (tall, unruly pheno):
Here is FCOG 1 close up. I’m too tired to complain about my camera. She is a hard hitter. Immediately to the head and body. If you’re a medicator, she’s for you. Really potent. Mrs. Coda hits her and is out 15 minutes later. Terps are pleasant. Not fruit, but sweet, and she smells like Irish Spring soap, but in a good way. Almost like a fresh spring day with fruit in the air. Big dense buds. I filled a one ounce grove bag with her in addition to the jars to see if there will be any discernable difference in the cure.
FCOG #2. She is identical to her sister in every way except her terps are brighter and more pronounced. Same smell, taste, buzz, effect, but louder.
Here is CJ1. She was my favorite in terms of growth and structure. Her tops purpled up towards the end. She smells and tastes exactly like GG#4 on steroids. I mean exactly. We have a couple of jars of GG here and you cannot tell the difference in smell. She definitely has chem as a dominant trait in her DNA. Strong smoke, tastes fantastic, great nose, dense buds and loud as hell. There is one very distinct difference. GG#4 can induce a bit of anxiety now and then, CJ has none of that.
Here is CJ2. She is the star of the show. She was too tall, unruly, grew into my lights in an 8 foot ceiling and paid off in every way. She smells like sharp lemon GG#4. Dense buds, really loud lemon chem smell. Smokes just like her sister. Nice and strong, but zero anxiety. Both of these girls were unbelievably sticky, and the trim is insane.
Well, that wraps up this log. If you’re looking for a strong sleep aid and medicine, you cannot go wrong with FCOG. Omeurta did a really nice job on these. I will be taking these to F7’s at some point. @LoveDaAutos did a fantastic job with the CJ’s. If you’re sitting on these beans and you love Gorilla Glue, I’d strongly recommend dropping a couple, or more. I didn’t weigh everything up, but all four plants gave us 15, 32-ounce wide mouth jars of rock hard nugs and 1, 1 ounce grove bag for testing purposes. Mrs. C will be set for a while
Thanks for tagging along. The next run will be all sativa after a little re-tooling of the room.
I have a lot of catching up to do on all of the other logs and threads.
Coda
Great report thanks.
That Cap Junky looks fantastic!
But I really like the sounds of the Fire Creek.
Superb grow all around, the setup, the plants, the grow, the trim, the results and review. Beautiful work
A++++ work man
Great job on the grow and review!
I had a feeling that tall CJ was going to be a good one. Yours is the first of that pheno I’ve seen like that. You didn’t by chance keep clones? Realyl nice, detailed smoke report.
Very nicely done @Coda
She is definitely the keeper of the two. Mainly because of her terps and her buds were rock solid all the way to the bottom. I still have several stems on her lowers with decent sized buds that I could try to monster crop. I did that with both, just in case. Nice job on the reversal. They were effortless to grow
Those look nice! That Fire Creek OG sounds like a winner.
If you love indicas with that knockout punch to the head and body, she’s your girl. The wife loves her…at night
That’s definitely my type of smoke. Too many seeds/cuts to buy and too little money unfortunately. I’ll be keeping my eye on this one though.
just read the report and hope you decided to reveg that cj2
really intrigued with the fire creeks sounds like you found something special that most of us indica lovers would love to find. look forward to you working that line. not a sativa fan but enjoy your logs and style. so ill be tagging along when i find it
